Dr. Fortson treats her employees horribly. No wonder she has such a high turnover rate. All she cares about is selling her products.

Doctor Fortson is kind of rude. I went in for acne and she said, "you deserve to be beautiful." Doctor Fortson doesnt just looks at your face and points out thd obvious and charges a lot of money. Also, they mess up my prescription so I have to call and they put me on hold for ten minutes. Then I have to call again since it didnt work and they put me on hold again. In total I had to call 4+times for about an hour. They staff that picked up sounded mean except for one.

I had to wait to T least 20 minutes see the doctor but then again, I don't remember the last time I haven't waited to see any doctor. Seems as though they are all late these days. I went in for some dark spots on my face, I was concerned that they may be an early sign of skin cancer. Dr. Fortson assured me they were just areas of sun damage. I don't feel as though she spent a ton of time with me she was very cordial in answering any and all of my questions. I also agree that there was a sales pitch at the end of the appointment but then again, I was visiting a dermatologist to improve the look of my skin. I didn't feel a ton of pressure to buy, it was just letting me know what was available to me if I chose to purchase anything. My skin is looking great after filling prescriptions from Dr. Fortson. I didn't go see her to make a new BFF but to improve my skin. I will go back and see her again.

I really don't understand some of the negative comments. Dr. Fortson clearly cares immensely about her patients and stafff, True it is a busy office but I always felt that she gave me the time I needed and often spent extra time with mewhen I had multilple things to address. She always took time to answer all of my questions. I often thought of another question after she left the room and she always came back and answered that for me. I have been to see every dermatologist in town and she's the only one that help me.i I really object to all tthe negative comments because as you can see from Dr. fortson's population is a somewhat difficult population to work with with all of the old people that come to see her. Obviously it takes more time and patience to deal with an elderly population. I never felt that she pushed cosmetic procedures or products on me. I have purchased some of her products and they are superb and tailored to my skin needs.

I have been a patient of Dr Fortson for about 8 years for various skin problems. I have found her to be the most knowledgeable dermatologist I have ever consulted with. In the beginning she didn't take time to explain things to me in any detail, but in the past few years she has gotten much better at answering my questions. She also seems to value my description of my symptoms. I am impressed with her tenacity and many accomplishments, and her depth of knowledge of her specialties. In addition to being a fine doctor, I believe she is also a very fine person.

I have come to see Dr. Fortson 6 times now, and I have had to wait over 30 minutes each time. When I finally do get in to see her, she dismisses my questions. She then leaves the room so one of her techs can try to sell me over priced lotions. As soon as I am done with my course of treatment I will not be back.

I arrived 15min early to complete paperwork and waited 40 minutes for an exam room, then waited another 15min for the Doctor. Thankfully as an RN I had prepared specific questions, which were barely answered, curtly. I learned nothing new and as others have stated was promptly referred for skin treatments @ $400.00/session for a minimum of 5 sessions. The attitude of the front desk/appointment scheduling is unbelievably rude, please find an office that actually cares to serve rather than wasting time with this office and physician. Know that walking away from working with this office will give you the same feeling as having avoided purchasing a 'time share' and you will be much better for it.
