Saw him for about 6 years. Things seemed fine at first. A change in his attitude came when he couldn't figure out a reason why some hormone testing (thyroid, parathyroid) was coming up wonky; he immediately tried to push me into psych care. (There's a long history of this sort of thing being done to women, due to medical ignorance.)
I may have some metabolic problem, or it could be related to "the change" of my natural hormones at this age. I never did get a solid medical answer, diagnosis, or medical referral, about it. I also never got any imaging, real diagnosis or referral for a probable torn muscle and/or other soft tissue damage which causes pain, daily.
I'm at the end of middle age and now have more than one or two ailments and problems which are surprising and the new limitations are a challenge to someone who was formerly athletic. Now, everytime I do something "ordinary," things are falling apart, so to speak. It's hard to know what I can and can't do physically, but my spirit is strong.
I can't say I received much help or new understanding from this practice. I am doing my best to be pro-active about my health; I don't think he cared. He became very arrogant, rude and seemed to have no compassion.
I might have been skeptical of any negative review of Dr. John Reinhardt, as I do remember reading them (on other sites) -- but then it happened to me! A word of warning. Don't let this happen to you.
