I have felt as if I were an inconvenience to Dr. Oteri, I thought perhaps because I am older, perhaps because I had to pay out of pocket for a while. Although, even with insurance things didn't change. The quality of my care went downhill with her, and I had to ask to have things done that were routine before. I went in for a physical and wasn't even touched by her, just a conversation. I've had to keep calling, long after I had personally received lab test results, to ask about prescription changes. When I decided to find another doctor, I had to wait well over a month for my records to be sent before I could get a painful concern addressed. I was told by staff more than once that they were behind on their paperwork, mail, call returns, etc. I generally found her and her staff uncaring, unprofessional, unorganized and unresponsive.

Dr. Oteri is extremely knowledgeable in both traditional and homeopathic remedies, and she is not quick to just hand out a prescription. She takes into consideration all of your symptoms and thinks thoughtfully and carefully about the best approach. While Dr. Oteri is extremely knowledgable in an approach to medicine that seems difficult to find in southern NH, I found her approach to be somewhat "my way is the right way, and if you think differently then you are wrong." She's smart and highly sought after, and she knows it. She is great with kids, but is a little colder to parents. I never felt 100% comfortable asking questions because I always got the impression that she would think I was stupid. Again, she is knowledgable in an approach to medicine that is few and far between where she is located, so she's a great option for people seeking the more alternative route, I just think her bedside manner could use a little work.

Extremely knowledgable. Diagnosed a fairly complicated problem that three other doctors were unable (or unwilling) to determine. Finally I am on the road back to full health and would recommend this doctor to anyone.

I agree with the other posters! I drove over a half hour one way for my children to see her in Amherst. I did not have any illnesses that would have caused her to recommend me to another doctor, but having seen other doctors- that is general practice. For example in the past I was having back troubles. My doctor at the time sent me to the back doctor, who sent me to a physical therapist. Talk about expensive! Now I just go to the chiropractor and I don't have any back issues!

the best doctor in NH!!! She is a wonderful caring health care provider who listens to parents and who believes that we have the right (and duty) to control our own health care, and that of our family.

Dr Oteri is fantastic & I highly recommend her. She has the perfect combination of not jumping to prescribe medication as so many doctors do, yet she absolutely will when meds are called for. She is the doctor for my whole family and she is the best I have ever seen. She takes the time to listen to you, does not brush off your concerns, and actually gives you the time to speak to her about everything you wanted to, unlike many doctors who rush in and out. She is open to other ideas and very happy to take patient input, unlike a lot of other doctors. I drive 50 minutes one way to see her and she is worth every minute. I highly recommend her.

good listener, however as far as diagnosing you forget it she refers you out to another Dr..I guess she is good if you only have the flu or common cold doubt she would refer you out for that...My complaint on this provider would be always refers you out to another Dr...can get costly if no insurance
