Dr.plessis delivered both my daughters and so happy to have had her for that. If you are expecting I would recommend her she is a great doctor. Only downside have to wait a bit for appointments but most doctors office are a bit behind and I would consider their office normal to most wait times and some rescheduling but only due to the fact that she is delivering a baby and that’s good thing.

Dr Plessis was on call at the hospital after I had a heart attack followed by an angioplasty which caused a stroke. I was new to the area and did not have a Dr. I looked up her rating and it was average so she became my Dr. I had had a large company when this happened and loved travel, so I was totally focused on how to get better, my left side was effected. I was told that they couldn't give me the drug that often eliminated the effects of the stroke, because of the drugs from the Angioplasty they were not able to administer this. Every visit I had with Dr. Plessis for me was all about how to get physically better. I continually asked to be referred to a neurologist, cardiologist or someone that might be able to help. Dr. would not discuss it neither was she ever interested in my physical progress, not looking at how left limbs were moving etc. It was never suggested that I be put in touch with Interior Health. I have been told this is done by the Dr. So I was disabled without any help for a long time. Interior Health I later found out had access to a lot of assistance but I was not given this information. I could not change Dr. because there weren't any accepting patients that already had a Dr. Almost a year after the stroke I found and joined a group in Vernon for living with Stroke. It was shocking, all the participants were or had received twice weekly physio from Vernon Hospital which I was never told about. They had pretty much all seen neurologists and counsellors, physio's and more. They were far ahead of me with all this help. When I left there I went straight to the hospital to try to get into physio ASAP. No one has been able to understand why she did not refer me to the Neuorlogist, and as it turned out I have a brain tumor in brain stem which would have been discovered much earlier through Neurologist. I feel that Dr Plessis was not at all interested in my recovery of a very serious disability. My physio's wanted me on two drugs that would have helped the extreme pain I had in my paralyzed limbs, also they wanted me to get botox in these limbs which would allow them to move easier.... again no referral, why? If the botox Dr did not think I should have it he would have just refused? So each visit I was trying to get help & make progress but was just a waste of time and very disappointing. I found Dr. Plessis more interested in her staff being happy than her patients. My appointment I waited 3 hours and receptionist was very rude, there was confusion in the appt but she did not help resolve it. I recommend finding another Dr.

Although this doctor can be pleasant she can also be condescending and dismissive. I have seen her on several occasions. She often makes unnecessary comments (that come across as a personal attack). This makes it difficult to feel comfortable as a patient and question her perception of you.

An extremely caring and considerate doctor. She treated my entire family for 8 years and she was an extremely good listener and was competent. We have been delighted and blessed to have Dr. Plessis as our family doctor. We love her and we feel she has always loved us.

This woman should not be allowed to deliver babies period, especially high risk or premature. I too was sick and was only 36 weeks, I had hypertension and my baby's Herat rate was extremely high, this went on for the greater part of the day. I should have been sent to a bigger better hospital but dr plessis didn't feel the need to send me? My baby suffered complications before during and after birth which may not have happened had she sent me to a better hospital with actual specialists who are far more experienced and knowledgable than dr plessis. I strongly advise women to travel to vernon to deliver their baby, it's just not worth the risk delivering in little salmon arm. This hospital is not equipped to be delivering babies, even though they lead you to believe they can!
