Lovely staff and excellent doctor! He is attentive and takes his time explaining things. He never makes you feel like he’s in a rush. Easy to talk to. Hope he never leaves.

His staff is friendly, and so is he. He makes sure that you understand, and he's hardly ever in a rush. He is compassionate, and he does all he can for his patients as well. Whatever your issue is, he does all that's possible to solve it.

Extremely disappointed with dr Pond’s lack of responsibility towards his patients! He is retiring and leaving his patients in the lurch. And apparently swung only a few patients until he officially retires??? So what do patients with chronic illness do? Have to look for another doctor was told! So I’m on a plethora of medications, blood thinners and for high blood pressure , potassium replacement among many others...and I need to manage these on my own? This is not a safe adventure...wish me luck! Doesn’t this medication therapy require monitoring? Been seeing him monthly... wasn’t this in itself indicative of a need for such monitoring? And so so disappointed

I always liked Dr. Pond as well as his current secretary however ,,,This Dr. is retiring and making no effort to find a replacement physician for his patients. This has become a trend in Fredericton with irresponsible doctors just leaving their patients without medical care. Many of his patients are older and/or have chronic conditions that require ongoing care but that doesn't seem to be a consideration with this doctor. It seems that coronavirus has brought out the worst in Fredericton's doctors who are just turning tail and running instead of caring for their patients. When I asked him if he was retiring just a short time ago he outright lied to me and said maybe up the road but indicated that it wouldn't be for a while. He also said he would let his patients know if he decided to retire but so far he hasn't notified me of his retirement that is taking place within a month or so. I found out by second hand sources. I'm truly disappointed in Dr. Pond's lack of ethics on this matter.

I have been a patient of Dr. Stephen Pond for many years. Never a problem with Dr. Pond or the front desk secretary especially since the last one was hired several years ago. Both have been very friendly and personable. Only downside is the occasional extremely long wait to see a specialist, usually several months. I highly recommend this Dr. and his staff.

Love doctor Pond! But it is almost impossible to book appointments and when he sends you to another doctor for referrals his respectionist takes a month or more to send them in. Long enough wait to see a specialist without have the extra wait

Dr pond is very knowledgeable and friendly to deal with. He is not an alarmist and keeps things relaxed. However he does not take detailed notes, referrals to specialists can take 3 months or more to be put through, and it takes about a month to get in for an appointment.
