Dr. Barkhouse is an incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and conscientious doctor. Very personable and empathetic. Despite being super busy, one never feels rushed or disregarded. A very good listener. And promotes all different types of wellness from nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle. Does not push medications as the only solution. We love Dr. Barkhouse.

Dr.Barkhouse is professional and her staff goes to the medical details and that makes the patients more hsppy and comfortable in dealing with ezch details i would also thank Dr Barkhouse and the nusrse practitioner for givkng me the opportunity to express in this comment about their experiences and hard working.

Dr. Barkhouse has been our family doctor for over five years. She has been nothing short if professional, conscientious, patient and goes beyond to ensure your medical needs are attended to in a timely manner. My spouse and I feel very fortunate to have Lana Beth as our GP (and Laurie Brehaut at her office as our NP). Lana Beth is fantastic at what she does and I wish every GP could be as competent, warm, and compassionate as she is. She is usually very punctual and I don’t feel over-rushed during our appointments. She is careful about over-prescribing. And I really like how appointments can be booked by email. As some others have said, a drawback for us as her patients is that she works part-time, so you may not be able to get an appointment very quickly.

My children and I have had Dr. Barkhouse as our family doctor for about 6 years. Her and her staff are all wonderful. Appointments are booked ina fast time compared to a lot of other doctors. They have always been kind and compassionate to my children and myself. I am very happy to have the entire staff looking after us.

We miss Dr. Barkhouse in Mahone Bay Nova Scotia so much!!
She was the best and we haven't had a good doctor since!!! Heck I haven't even had a family doctor in over 5 years!!
Dr. Barkhouse.....PLEASE come back!!
