Dr. Ricci has been my doctor for over 12 years. He also has been my husband's and childen's doctor as well. We have all appreciated him and his wonderful staff--they really have been terrific to us and we will really miss them. Happy retirement doc, you deserve it.

Dr. Ricci has been my doctor for 30 years. He has taken care of my parents and my two best friends. He's been caring, very competent, and always willing to listen. A great measure of his caring about his patients is that he "knows" you outside the office... will go out of his way to say "hi" and even sit down to chat if he sees you around town. In the last couple of years, he's brought Dr. Valley Gilbert into his practice to give him the ability to have some well-earned time off for his own life. Dr. Gilbert is a good measure of how much he cares about his patients as he selected someone who cares about her patients and has is very knowledgable just as he is. Finally, his staff is first rate, friendly, and extremely competent.

Dr. Ricci has always solved my issues. He is quick and to the point. I could see how people who need more attention and sympathy could get frustrated, but for someone like me who just wants to know what the issue is and how to fix it Dr. Ricci is the man. I've been going to Dr. Ricci for about 3 years now and will continue as long as I'm living in the Chico area.

Apparently Dr. Ricci only works 2 to 3 hours per day and feels his time is better spent with his family. That is all well and good, maybe he should just retire. We were not informed of this prior to the appointment and it was quite a shock to see a different physician come into the exam room. He has a different physician working in his office, Dr. Vally Gilbert. She is very uncaring, has no bedside manner, does not want to spend time with a patient who has not been to Dr. Ricci's office in a while. She was more concerned with the other patients in the waiting room. It took a lot for this patient to admit he needed medical attention, to make the appointment, and make the effort to see Dr. Ricci. This patient had confidence in Dr. Ricci, but that confidence has been nullified. This was an unfortunate occurance and basically has ended this patient-doctor relationship. If you like a doctor who is unsympathetic and doesn't have time for you, then by all means, see Doctors Ricci & Gilbert.

Going to his office was the worst medical experience of my life and that of my wife as well. He did not bother to listen to either of us and he's quick to jump to conclusions. If you value your health, do not seek his treatment here.

Dr. Ricci has been my doctor for more than 15 years. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. He is very knowledgeable.

I have been to this doctor several times. He was quick to dismiss my concerns by giving a prescription rather than listen and look into the cause of the problem. I am glad it was not life-threatening. I will never return to him nor refer anyone to him.

Dr. Ricci is friedly and respectful. He is willing to send you to a specialist if needed.

The staff has been there so long, they think they are the Dr. I am very disappointed in the fact that the Dr. does not put his staff in their places. They do not handle hippa laws well. They let their personal feeling show and comment to people things that should be private.
