Would not recommend him to a injured animal along side the road. I have told him for years I had back pain all day every day , and that my feet were numb got multiple injections for siatiatica. He blew it off as arthritis never a x ray cat scan or mri. It wasn’t till I hurt my back at work that I found out I had spinal stenosis multi herniated disc and bulging disc and a tumer pressing on my siaciatic nerve.he did nothing to help me. I would not recommend him to a dead person.

Unfortunately this doctor is on the approved list of medical practictioners that are able to approve and assist the sick and hurting patients needing Medical Marijuana in the Johnstown PA area..

Sounds like good news right? well they are not willing to see ANY new patients.. you must be a current patient with them in order for them to consider helping you heal yourself with medical marijuana..

I dont know why a doctor would turn away people who need their help..

I saw Dr. Sugulski for 3 years. He was ok, not overly interested in any particular issues I had. Suddenly after an "ER Dr. " at Conemaugh told me to go home and sleep!!!! As I presented with clear symptoms of a lung blood clot!!!! Dr. Sugulski sent me a letter telling me to find a new MD as he wouldn't treat me because I "was rude to the ER Dr."!!! That night after being ignored at Conemaugh, I was taken to Pgh SHADYSIDE where I wa immediately CT scanned and HAD A BLOOD CLOT IN MY LEFT LUNG!!!!! So much for Conemaugh and Sugulski! Malpractice and medical NEGLIGENCE is best to describe both him and that "hospital"!

Dr. Sugalski is what all doctors should be like. He takes his time and listens to your concerns, answers your questions and really cares about your health. His nurse is awesome. Sometimes you may have to wait to see him, but this is because he does not just push you out the door. He gives everyone the same time and attention so that their health problems are addressed. Try to find this with other doctors. He also has a wonderful sense of humor and talks to you like you're a friend, not just a patient. I would never want to see anyone else. So happy I found him!

After my visit today, I have decided to find a new family doctor. As I began to give my chief complaints to the doctor and the physicians assistant internet that was in the room Dr Sugalski laughed and made light of everything I brought up. He ordered blood work for me, but I didn't feel he genuinely cared about my medical concerns. I have only seen him 2-3 times. Not happy with this doctor at all.

he does take his time with you.takes about a month to get appt. seems to favor certain people over others though

The best family doctor in Johnstown. Just recently not associated with Conemaugh Health System. What a bonus!!!! this is the kind of doctor you just don't find anymore. Caring, compassionate, understanding. Takes time to really know you as a person, takes care of your health needs but more than this. When you leave an appointment with Dr. Sugalski, you feel good about yourself. If he did not take any form of insurance I would pay his fee out of pocket. His staff has changed over the years, but it doesn't take long for their attitude to reflect the doctors. Helpful, polite, caring. You may wait a little to see him, but once you are on the table you are his primary concern, not the time it takes you to explain your problems. Knowing this you realize he may be running behind on an appointment, but you understand he is giving everyone he sees the same excellent advice and truly listening to their problems too. He is too good for the CHI system.
