Have no idea what people are complaining about. She's incredibly thorough, truly goes above and beyond! She regularly seeks to see all sides of an issue with my children, is friendly and empathetic.

Horrible, horrible experience. It was taking over a year to get a referral to gynecology and still nothing. Finally I did my own research and got a proper referral. Office staff were very rude when I tried to book an appointment through the website and sent a nasty email asking me to call them in the future. Dr. Saban is very unprofessional, didn't really look at my health history and was not concerned about going through my medications. Was very unset that she had to do some paper work for my work as it was added work for her and this is what she expressed. Not professional in front of a patient.

I have been going to see this "Dr." for a few years now and have had nothing resolved...I have been having some major issues with my throat, sinus and ears ever since having my tonsils taken out. I can't eat or even yawn without pain. I was told by Saban that she has the same issues and I should just get used to it like she has...Now to me this is just not standard practice. It takes a year or better for her to get you a referral. She also has no grasp of the English language, as I have to explain and re-explain everything that I am experiencing...I think she chooses who to be nice to and to heck with the rest of us...The last time I saw her was back in july, I was having some pretty bad issues where as I could not swallow anything not even water. I tried once again to get her to listen or do something for me, all she did was tell me again, she has the same problem and she lives with it and offered me anti-anxiety pills...When I told her that simply would not do, I need my ear looked at (as it was so full of fluid that I have a lump I could feel all the way to my stomach) she basically took me off the patient list. This woman really needs to get off her high horse and actually help her patients rather then letting them suffer and starve.....

I've had only positive experiences with Dr. Saban. She's not only very nice but also follows up by her staff making house phone calls to check up on my son who was recently sick the past month with an infection.

Hi there I had the misfortune of meeting "DR."Shireen Saban today as my sister has had ongoing issues for some 8 years and has not to date received proper medical attention for her issues, I have heard many horror stories that my sister had told me about her doctor and I have even witnessed on several occasions her crying after leaving the office, so this time I decided to go with her, "doctor" Saban was very confused as if she didn't even know what the situation was and when trying to talk to hear she would just start talking herself as if the words coming from our mouths were meaningless she also seemed more hell bent on medication (painkillers & anti anxiety pills) then actually getting to the physical root of the issue

Horrible. You never get to finish a sentence. You start talking, explaining why you are there and she interrupts. Forget about telling her all the symptoms, she already has an answer. Seems to like being a know it all and finds it inconvenient that part of being an MD is dealing with patients. She wants to spend as little time as possible with a patient because you are wasting her time.

Everyone at this office is rude to me every time that I attend. Dr. Saban herself frequently mistakes me for other patients, provides inaccurate or out of date information, or attempts to leave the office while I am still talking. I will be reporting her to the larger body.

Rude, unhelpful, couldn't care less attitude. Shouldn't be a doctor.Maybe she has personal problems, if so leave them at home.

I saw Dr Saban for the first time and was absolutely shocked by her attitude. I was there to get prescriptions for my drugs refilled after having lived out of country for a few years. She did not take my medical history but when I told her about one major surgery I'd had she immediately told me that "they'd' never do that surgery in Ontario." Like others have noted, she was very rude, arrogant and dismissive. I asked her about pain I'm having in some joints and she spun on her stool and turned on me, saying "You sure aren't going to get surgery for that!" I told her that I wasn't looking for surgery, just wondering if something could be done to help! After about 5 minutes she said...'you're Deborah right?' I am not Deborah. She had no knowledge of one of my prescriptions and told me to go and research it online or to ask a pharmacist as "that's their job to know drugs, not mine". Dr Saban--dismissive, rude, sarcastic, with limited knowledge. So disappointing!

I agree with the vast majority of people that have posted ratings for Saban. (I won't prefix her with Dr) This woman should not be allowed to practise medicine. I met her with an open mind, even though my wife and my daughter both came home with nothing good to say about her. Saban changed my mind quickly. I went to Saban because all of the doctors in the practice were either away or busy and my situation required timely attention. I had torn the distal biceps tendon in my arm and knew I needed a referral to an orthopedic surgeon. Because I could hold a coffee in my hand, she determined there was nothing wrong with my arm. Without examining my arm (she slouched against a table) she said she wasn't about to "bounce me around to different doctors" because my arm was fine. This particular injury is supposed to be repaired within days, but because of the delay created by Saban, I didn't get the surgery for 2 days shy of 10 weeks. Luckily, I found a great doc that fixed it. Ron Coulter.
