I find when I go to get a scan Im put at ease and all goes well. Dr B is very nice and to the point. No problems at all.

Summary: I was left with serious chronic pain from an ineffective surgery, was shamed and belittled be he and staff, and 8+ years later made to jump through hoops with medication that had terrible and unsafe side effects in order to prove myself "compliant".

He did a lap band surgery on me and it has never worked. The only difference was that I now have terrible scars on my stomach and severe chronic pain at the port site if I move the wrong way at all. I used to be at least quite physically active even though I was overweight (around 245) and now just walking can set off the intense pain and spasms. Once it happens I'm sore for days after. When I've gone for help he says nothing is wrong it's just a little scartissue.
I've had the band for 8 or more years and still no help. If I ever pushed or criticized, he would be cold, snappy. Not only this, but I would end up missing appointments bc his secretary wouldn't call, or if I called to reschedule, booked times without telling me. Apparently this was a big issue and she was fired. The nurse he had at the time was very shamey and rude. After some time I just stopped going because I always felt so belittled. Finally when I got the nerve to go back bc I really wanted help, want the band taken out BC it is hurting me and not working, he refused to do anything because I was "non-compliant" and I had to prove myself. He referred me to a doctor who treats obesity with medication and it was also an awful experience - one med made me severely depressed and suicidal, other meds have me such bad diarrhea I couldn't get out of the car without making a mess, and the other was so expensive I could have bought a new car and it was not covered by insurance. Also none of them had any type of causal relationship to weight loss (I'm also in the Health profession and have access/understanding of medical research). When I went to my family doctor to ask about one in particular he replied that of course you'd lose weight with it, it makes over 80% of people super sick to their stomach. When the doctor called me back and I told her I wouldn't take any more medications she berated me over the phone until I was in tears. The only saving grace for this man and this whole clinic is he now has a nurse that is kind and caring, and the dietician I met a long while ago was lovely, but I now can't get into see her even though I've made multiple requests to. And just recently when one of my appointments were cancelled by Dr Beausoleil I missed the rescheduled appointment because I didn't know what it was. When I called and found out I missed it, I was spoken rudely to and commented on my non-compliance, and my next appointment was made begrudgingly. He continues to refuse to do anything to even remedy the pain he caused.

**BE WARNED**. This doctor is a HACK. He put my loved one in ICU due to his NEGLIGENCE during bariatric surgery. He is an incompetent surgeon who continues to risk people’s lives & shows no concern or remorse. Your life means nothing to him, so please make sure it means something to you, and STAY AWAY. He will become your worst decision ever made. DR BEAUSOLEIL, YOU ARE NB’s #1 BOTCHED DOCTOR. STAY AWAY PEOPLE!!

was so happy 6 years ago...they gave me back my steps to life when Dr. Beaysoleil and his team provided me with the gastric sleeve surgery... I lost 184 lbs in total and now weigh 167...Now that being said , I was told that in time to come I would be refereed to another great surgeon to help with skin removal and so on...I did receive the referral and I did go see the Dr. but NEVER EVER HEARD BACK FROM THAT DR AGAIN! ... Now I am left with skin hanging and sagging and discussting body... I can't look at myself in mirroe let alone have an intimate life...My 13 year relationship ended and now I am alone and with no hope of a future other than alone. I look back now and believe atleast when I was large I still had the courage to look in a mirror and not afraid for anyone to see a full body...Now my body looks like a monster....BEWARE WHAT IS PROMISED TO YOU UNLESS YOU HAVE $$$$$ TO SPEND FOR RECONSTRUCTION !

I would love to comment on this cowboy....he crippled my husband in 2000 and as of yet there was nothing that could be done to help him. The dr cut a nerve..crippling him for life .No regrets from him.Talked to alot of people since thay have lost loved ones due to his careless behavior. NEVER let this man put you under the knife...unless you want to die or suffer the rest of your life.

Sent one of my residents to hospital due to having extremely high blood sugar (not on insulin) B.S was 33.3 , 30.3, 32.3 all within a couple hrs. Called and said the hospital was busy and was sending her home, Told me to give her insulin and stop wasting his time. Told him "I am not a doctor I cannot give insulin to someone who is not prescribed it." hung up on me. Next saw him in emerge, literally came out and asked everyone one loudly and rudely "What's wrong with you?" or "what's your problem" Snarky little jack with terrible white coat syndrome. Also says La way too much. We now call him Dr La.

OMG! If you care for your life. Stay away from him. Bed side manners he is A+ and that's it! A family member of mine, had a hernia he operated on. Other then her Hernia , she was healthy. I will not go in details because too many things went wrong but in brief, She ended up getting 3 surgeries for him to fix his mistakes. A day surgery ended up in a horrible experience. She nearly died following his last mistake ( having consulted other doctors, they confirmed they were mistakes) She ended up in a induce coma and then 6 weeks in the hospital. Her life has changes enormously since and not in a good way. I have met a few people who have described a similar experience following surgeries done by him. Please been careful and do your research.
