We have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Norris! He is so kind, caring and so patient when I was worried about my son. He took his time to explain all my questions and concerns. Highly recommend him.

The ratings that say he is a bad clinician with a God complex are correct. He is. His knowledge is stuck in the 1970s, never updated, and way behind the times. He gets huffy if the patient dares to speak. He prescribes inappropriate and dangerous medication. Care is subpar. The office is unspeakably bad. Seek help elsewhere.

Dr. Norris was so kind, caring and so well knowledgeable with my baby! He helped me calm down (as a first time mom) when I was so anxious with my son.

I would give DR Norris I negative 5 if there was the option of doing that. He’s just a waste of skin

Dr. Norris misdiagnosed me with ADD when I was 9 years old and, after feeding me pills for 8 years (dexadrine and ritalin), he finally brought me in to tell me I actually had something called Klinefelter. You would've though he would've gone back to the drawing board after me consistently saying "these pills don't help, they're making me into a mindless zombie" but he didn't seem to care.

The worst part is, there were tests available before I was even born that could diagnose Klinefelter in the womb. Dr. Norris stole a great deal of my childhood and, unfortunately, I'm not the only one.

Dr. Norris does not seem to believe in or understand mental heath issues - and this almost cost me my brother's life!

My brother attempted suicide a few weeks ago (and thanks to the doctors at Grand River is finally getting PROPER medical attention and mental care).

My brother has been on meds for anxiety since childhood. Dr. Norris recently put him on the SAME medication that had as a child already caused him extreme difficulties. It was on this same medication that my brother was experiencing suicidal thoughts. My brother called Dr. Norris TWICE for help prior to attempting suicide and Dr. Norris's response was to "increase the dose".

So not only was he on meds that Dr. Norris had already used in the past (with poor results) but he was given what the Doctors at Grand River called "extremely dangerous dosages". My brother said numerous times he was having suicidal thoughts and asked Dr. Norris for help - and did NOT GET IT.

In the hospital, Dr. Norris called my brother and asked if everything was alright - obviously not if he freaking attempted suicide. I'd also like to mention, this was several weeks ago and he has NOT followed up with my brother to see how he is doing.

Our friends and family are absolutely appalled by Dr. Norris's conduct. This is pure neglect and it literally almost killed my brother.

With all of the suicides in Elmira and surrounding area, WHY ARE MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES NOT BEING TAKEN SERIOUSLY?

We will be filing a formal complaint as well. But you all need to know about this. We do not want to see another family have to go through this. My brother was extremely lucky to survive this - with no help at all from Dr. Norris. Shame on you!

He was my doctor when i was a child (I'm19 now so like 5 years ago). He continuely misdiagnoses. When I was his patients he assumed everything was tonsillitis. He sent me for blood work for mono when he had my strep results. He gave out medications like candy. I switched doctors to actually get my concerns heard as soon as I could.

Been my Doctor for over 25 years, been there with me through the birth of all my 4 children and continues to be their doctor. He never hesitated to send for additional tests, was always kind and attentive. Yes I have to wait, but I will do that to have a good doctor, the 1 or 2 times I had something urgent with the kids I was able to get in quickly. Amazing doctor.

Dr Norris has been hit or miss but mostly miss. Doesn't take your concerns serious until you end up in emergency after an ambulance ride. Fortunately I have been able to find a new doctor in a new clinic. It does seem based on conversations I have had, that he gets along much better with female patients than males.

My sister relied on this man to take care of her health. She has had 2 and now likely one more cancers in which he never diagnosed. It was with the help of ER doctors that she got the help and treatments she deserved and needed to save her life. Now she suffers with a tumor in her pancreas that he never physically tried to find. ER doctors were able to feel it immediately. He’s making slot of income for doing nothing!! If this guy is your doctor and you feel something is wrong go to the ER and don’t waist your time with this guy because you owe it to yourself to live!! Dogs get better treatment at a vet!!
