I saw Dr. Terino about three years ago for cheekbone implants. He placed one higher than the other, one is larger than the other and one is moving, was not sewn in place and is painful when I lay my head on a pillow. I should've known. My very first appt., he was late becuase he was redoing a surgery. The day of my surgery, he didn't get started with me until late afternoon because he was redoing a surgery. Save yourself the heartache and money and go to someone with a good reputation. Do not be sucked in by his knowledge. He has no skill anymore...he is too old to be doing surgery!!

Dr. Terino is a big fan of facial implants on men and women, however he makes man look like women by implanting big cheek implants. He implanted those huge implants very low on my face and made me look like a clown, the implants gave me mobility issues and the swelling didn't recover until 1 year later! so I could not work and lost my job and became homeless, but he didn't care at all! He promissed to fix it and ased me to wait about 2 years for recovery to fix it, but only I found out that he asked me to wait so I couldn't file a lawsuit against him.(you can not file a lawsuit after 2 years in the state of california). Dr. Terino is very old and because of his age he has an invoulentary hand movement and shaking!!! (please notice that if you go for a consultation). I have met at least 5 more patients just this month that had breathing problems (nose surgery) mobillity issues(facial and breast implants) black eye (bruses because he poped a blood vessel while injecting botox).Retire doc!

I don't normally join these types of forums but I had such a wonderful experience with Dr Terino that I felt that I wanted to share my experience. Known as the godfather of modern day jaw augmentation I found him after doing some research and reading a few textbooks that he had written. I visited a number of different top ranked cosmetic surgeons who do jaw augmentation. I choose to do it with him because of what a great personality he had, and how he spent almost a full day with me going over everything that I needed to know about the surgery. If anyone is looking to get any kind of cosmetic surgery done I can not recommend this doctor enough! He doesn't try to do the hard sell that many of the other Beverly hills doctors that I consulted with tried on me. Just look him up on youtube, he has won a number of awards.

I am two weeks in recovery from jaw augmentation surgery. I am a 39 year old male and was uncertain about doing this elective procedure. Dr. Terino and his staff prepared me for the procedure--the ups and downs. Prior to surgery, I did a ton of research, consulted other doctors and was really uncertain about the process and outcome, weighing the risks and benefits. I am so pleased with how it turned out. Dr. Terino did a fantastic job. I wanted a subtle enhancement and he delivered. I had a narrow, asymmetrical face. We decided on 9mm implant on one side and 10mm implant on the other. Dr. Terino is thorough and worked to understand and meet my expectations.

I suspect that The positive ratings here are probably his staffers and Scientology Church members because a man who refused to remove for 3 months an implant that he knew would cause serious deformity to my face, only did this kind of thing once--- to me. It is costing me many thousands to repair the damage done my face by this doctor. In addition, he stated falsely to be before surgery that the implant would not extend beyond the width of my lips, and he put in one that extended far beyond that, thereby putting in aged-looking features that did not exist before he laid hands on me. He also stated he could not find the magazine pictures he had had me bring in, for a guide of what I wanted. He also insisted I take the invalid Oxford psychological test used by Scientologists for recruitment. He chose not to fasten down the replacement chin implant.

i went to this doctor when i was 14 for a nose job. at first it was fine but as my swelling went away it became really noticeable that the practically scooped out one side of my nose making it look really crooked. i went back to him at this point and he said it was a rare case and that he would fix it--and he convinced me to get a chin implant. again i went under the knife and he further mutilated me. over 10 years later now and 3 surgeries from another doctor i finally look normal. my nose has to be completely rebuilt and i will forever have breathing problems. the other surgeon that fixed me said he fixed a lot of torino patients. i have since met one other woman that had her nose done by him. he did the same thing to her! scooped out the side of her nose!!!
