Agree with the other reviewers regarding her demands to pay cash $95.00 up front because she said my insurance did not pay her 6 months ago. I never got a bill from my insurance or her, though she demanded I pay today, before she would treat me. I responded that I needed to check with my insurance company first, since they never billed me, before I would pay her $95.00 cash. She refused to tx me today, even after I had started teh course of antibiotics she prescribed. Went home and checked my claims and in fact, United healthcare had paid her for the visit she was requesting money for. This is illegal. Double billing. Could be a lawsuit. I will never go back. They don't send bills in the mail, and demand cash. Don't know about her knowledge of medical stuff. I feel bad for lady at the front desk.

A horrible experience! I was forced to pay the entire amount up front in cash, even though I have insurance. (A state insurance commission investigator said she is not supposed to do this.) I told her how my retired derm was effectively treating me. She disagreed & tried to push other Rx which I have already tried with bad results. Reluctantly prescribed my current Rxs & insisted on scheduling follow-up visit even though I said no. She said my fingernail fungus was "just dry skin". When I asked about reimbursement of portion covered by insurance, she rudely dismissed my concerns. I called twice before she agreed to file the claim. Kaiser paid her the claim & notified me. When I called to ask for my $72, she said, "I sent the check back. They will pay you." Kaiser said she knows this is not done & they did not get the check. She hung up on them when they called her & hung up on me. She's been paid twice for the same visit. I have filed a complaint with the state to get my money back.

Unprofessional and not helpful at all. Experiencing problems with the RX she prescribed, notified her of the problem via telephone, no information or compassion whatsoever. VERY creepy personality. Beware.

I agree with the other two reviews on Dr. Matsuoka. Her name is not on the directory outside the office and the credentials on the wall were for another doctor. She keeps prescription forms and appointment cards in a Zip Loc bag. She was negligent in writing my prescription, wrote it out to the wrong patient. Because it was written to the wrong patient, the pharmacy would not fill my prescription and when they tried contacting her through the exchange, she is not on any exchange. I called her to inquire about making a claim and she hung up on me!! I tried calling back several times and she does not answer.

Does not return calls. Gives incomplete form for Medicare claim. Won't resubmit or review original form. Very unprofessional. Hangs up on patient. Impossible to contact. Doesn't answer phone calls and doesn't pick up registered mail. No concern for patient's insurance reimbursement.

Weird. Conducts all of her office business using her cell phone. No permanent office. Works out of other doctors' office. No office staff. Creepy personality.
