One poster submitted that Dr. Jardine has his friends and family post positive reviews. I call buulshit. I would even offer that the poster is actually a friend or family member of another physician in the area doing the EXACT same thing they are accusing others of doing.
I feel that many posters have hidden agendas as well. Evidence of this is the higher scores for Dr. Jardine's staff...a frontline staff who are among the worst I've ever dealt with anywhere. They treat you like an annoyance...a disruption to their day.
But as for Dr. Jardine himself. He's a great guy...and a great doctor.

Terrible Dr. Misdiagnoses serious issues as nothing. Prescribes inhalers like they are candy. Needs to retire already, long past his prime.

I am beyond shocked at the comments I'm reading. This is an incredibly busy clinic BECAUSE the care is exceptional.
The staff as a whole is only "Okay" except for Rosemary. She is absolutely fantastic. She makes you feel like she's truly happy to see you. The rest of the staff aren't cut out for dealing with people...especially sick and stressed people.
They were all helpful even if they didn't seem happy to be helping. Rosemary on the front desk and Dr. Jardine are exceptionally helpful.
Punctuality sucks to high heaven. I feel that he should take less appointments BUT the flip side to this is that the long waits are indicative of a doctor who doesn't rush you out the door. He does listen to you and wants to know what else is going on in your life. And if he didn't load up each day then you'd have to wait MONTHS to see him because he's just that popular.
Dr. Jardine is incredibly knowledgeable. Another doctor in the area who shall remain nameless (but is more focused on getting everyone on the Atkins diet and away from potatoes and bread than he is actually listening to and treating patients) once derided Dr. Jardine for spending too much time reading and studying medicine rather than practicing. I for one am quite thankful that my doctor stays on top of changing opinions and procedures.
Dr. Jardine has been a fantastic doctor for my whole family for the past 20 to 30 years.

Been coming to Dr Jardine for almost 40 years. Very capable and helpful doctor. The terrible punctuality puts a damper on his abilities. Plan to spend 1-2 hours in the waiting room past your appointment time.

Dr Jardine has been my doctor for 25 years since I was a young boy, he is a very kind hearted man and very knowledgeable, very personable and inhave had nothing but good experiences with him. In fact he always makes me feel good about myself and at ease of my condition every time I leave his office. He is also my entire families doctor, aunts, uncles, cousins, parents, etc. He knows my entire family history and seems genuine and interested in what I have to say when I see him.

I was Dr. Jardine's patient for many years before moving to Calgary. He is one of the best, most caring doctors I have had. My Dad was a family doctor before he passed away, and Dr. Jardine has that "old school" way of treating patients. He always took the time to listen to me and never made me feel like my issues were "all in my head" or unimportant. I am shocked by the nasty comments on here. There are two sides to every story, and I would imagine that these comments should be taken with a grain of salt.
The only issue that I had was having to wait in the waiting room for a long time despite making an appointment. The reception staff could do a better job of scheduling by inquiring about the nature of the visit, and provide ample time for each patient so that he doesn't get backlogged every day.

This is a good man and a very good doctor.

Dr. Jardine is a terrible, irresponsible doctor. He gave a teenage patient a questionnaire to fill out and then immediately diagnosed her with Multiple Personality Disorder (a term which had been removed from the DSM before she was born) without her ever seeing a psychiatrist. He did not refer her to a psychologist/psychiatrist, and told the young patient instead of her parents, causing her needless stress. This was of course blatantly incorrect. and after changing doctors she has been correctly diagnosed with anxiety and mild OCD, which are being managed responsibly. Absolutely furious that this man is still practicing and potentially traumatizing young patients with his blatant lack of knowledge and flagrant disregard for mental health.
