Dr. Scatena and her office staff are the most unprofessional physician's office at which I have ever been a patient. During my initial visit she was late coming to see me and was a bit dismissive of my face and body acne. The original prescriptions for acne that Dr. Scatena prescribed me did not work, even after three months. I scheduled another appointment with her to follow up, at which time I was going to suggest we try another or a more aggressive treatment. I received a call several weeks after scheduling my three-month follow-up appointment, at which time the receptionist said Dr. Scatena was not in fact going to be in the office on the day of my original appointment; they had overlooked this when I first scheduled. Since I still needed to see her I was happy to move my appointment to a few days later that week. Unfortunately something came up at work that I could not miss during my rescheduled appointment, so I called the dermatology office (with more than 24 hours' notice). The receptionist rescheduled me for two weeks later at 7 am. I arrived on the day of my appointment on time, only to find that I wasn't actually on the books for the day and time I am certain I agreed to weeks prior. The receptionist then told me Dr. Scatena could not see me until May! It's the office's fault for messing up my follow-up appointment TWICE. The doctor is dismissive and the staff is dysfunctional. Do yourself a favor and find a dermatologist office that cares about your condition and about you as a patient.

Dr. Scatena is wonderful. She was thorough, knowledgeable, explained everything and answered all of my questions. Why my bad review? No record of my appointment that I made three weeks prior, and also my prescription was not to be found at my pharmacy even after confirming with her staff after my appointment that is where it was to be sent. And I had to wait for 15-20 minutes in her room almost nekkid after her NP checked me in for her to show up. Again, when she was there she was great. Appointment setting and follow through, not so much. If you can handle that, see her, and triple check times and where scripts are going.

Best dermatologist in town. The office staff is friendly and genuinely work to get you in to see a doctor. Dr. Scatena is incredibly smart and has a wonderful bedside manner. My whole family has seen her for various skin issues and we all feel the same way.

I highly recommend Dr. Scatena. She is extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. She diagnosed my condition immediately and treated it effectively. This was the best doctor experience I have ever had.

She did what she was supposed to do, nothing geniuos. I knew I had contact dermatitis. What she didnt tell me, at the end of the exam, was about a spot on my leg which I wanted to know if it is from the sun. She just said she has to see other patient now.

Dr. Scatena handled my visit in a kind and professional manner. Even though it was my first dermatology appointment, she explained everything in a way I could understand. I was never uncomfortable. She gives you her full attention and you never feel hurried. Her staff was friendly and helpful and her office is dreamy. I highly recommend her to anyone!

After four years of seeing Drs. and having my rash became worse; I felt like I was finally in good hands after seeing Dr. Scatena. She was extremely friendly and competent. My rash began to heal immediatley. Her follow-up has been excellent. She is available, flexible, friendly and compasionate; and her staff is equally good in all categories.

Wonderful treatment by very knowledgeable,personable doctor whose expertise has not jaded her attitude. Her staff reflects the high quality of professionalism she herself exhibits. Dr Scatena was WONDERFUL! Her office is beautiful and warm and so was she! She was informative, friendly, helpful and knew exactly what to do for my problem. I have found my dermatologist for life!
