I did not like Dr. Hayes or the clinic at Oakwood. I thought the staff was rude and jaded -- no compassion. I would not recommend Dr. Hayes or the clinic to anyone. I really think that they would have just kept taking my money as long as I was willing to give it to them. During the IVF consult, Dr. Hayes kept saying she wasn't a "used car salesman" to convince us she wasn't just trying to sell us a bunch of services. Well, if you have to keep justifying all the expenses, then guess what? -- you are a shyster! Infertility is such an emotional rollercoaster, you would think that this clinic would be more sensitive to that. I felt like it was just a mill, we were just numbers--not human beings, and that they only cared about money. After my 4th IUI, no one called to follow up on me. I just stopped going and no one cared. I never got a diagnosis other than "unexplained" and I never got pregnant.

Dr. Hayes is not the warmest person in the world but seems to know her stuff. When one is dealing with the delicate subject of infertility, it helps to have both warmth and knowledge. Her staff leaves something to be desired. I was patronized and reprimanded by one of the nurses who always seemed to have problems getting it together. One of the other nurses was always kind and helpful. Fortunately we couldn't always see her.

I had secondary infertility which was never solved. Dr. Hayes was one of my many dr's and I only saw her once. That was enough. She was cold cold cold. Didn't say much, didn't discuss things in any detail with you. Seems very disconnected.

Dr. Hayes has always given us her full attention during appointments and all appointments have started within 15 to 20 minutes of appointment time. She is very conservative, but will go full force ahead if she is sure it is necessary. Although I never became pregnant, Dr. Hayes did everything she could to help my husband and I achieve a pregnancy.

SEEMED RUSHED LIKE ON A CLOCK. I KNOW SHE IS THE SPECIALIST BUT I FELT LIKE MY OPINION DID NOT COUNT. I WILL NOT GO BACK TO HER.
