Am a 67 year-old runner who was facing potential cardiac issue. How fortunate for me that I found Dr. Getchell. He is also athletic and was so very calm and personable. Explains things in detail and never rushed any part of any conversation on my several visits. Did stress testing and upon my followup visit, he was returning from a vacation where he had spent some time reading two studies that were applicable to my situation. I was placed on a low-dose statin and was back out running again. Cannot say enough about how he took the time to make me feel as though I were his first, and most important, patient. Great individual!
