Rushed through every meeting and blew off my questions with simpleton one or two short answers rather than taking the time to explain with details, felt as if he were talking to a five year old. Multiple clogged arteries is a huge deal to me and i expected to be given answers to my questions as an intelligent adult. I had to look my condition up on the internet to get at least a summary and dont feel i should have too do this. Follow up visit after stent lasted 5 minutes. In cath lab after procedure it was fri afternoon and techs got to go home after returning me to room so they were not paying attention and hooked my oxygen up to my personal portable concentrator in the floor which was not on. They also did not give me aftercare instruction paperwork. On top of all this i left two messages for him regarding two different problems and nobody returned my call so the home care nurse told me to go to er, so went to er two times. I also asked him to write prescriptions for iinhalers for my copd necause i could not get appointment with pulmonary tijll end ofomth and would be out of meds and he said dont worry when you come in for the other stent i will have them stop by your room. Well my stent procedurr got scheduled at the end of the month so i will still be out. He also only prescribed 15 days of a very important blood pressure med and i was not told why. I experienced severe chest pain about 30 min after provedure and was put in icu. It is medical protocol to prescribe nitro for a patient with heart failure due to clogged arteries that has anghina, but he did not, i experienced them at home and was the reason for one of the calls to his office that was not returned. Aftery research i found that i should have been presribed additional medication for my heart especially since i still have aajor artery lad clogged. I have decided to postpone procedure and get a second opinion at Temple Heartc and will probably have stent done there. I wanted to see my cath and know if any other arteries are clogged and what percentage, and had many other questions, but instead i was rushed through there like the building was on fire. Not my idea of good detailed and thorough medical care at all
