i truly miss Dr Aedy so much . He was a fantastic eye Dr . He saved my vision in my left eye , i believe he saved my left eye literally ! I had a sharp yucca plant pierce thru my eye a few years back and they called in Dr Aedy to see me at the old St Catharines General when it was still on Queenston St. He was amazing to say the least. He made me feel so comfortable , and took the fear away tat i had. He was so professional in every way .. he was also kind and caring & he had an amazing sense of humour also. I miss him a lot, and so does my daughter. it was very sad when he passed away. I have to say that i was shocked and surprised to see a negative comment on his ratings ??? if he ever had to cancel someone's appt , then sadly it was bcuz he was feeling unwell. The neg comment i saw, prompted me to write my positive one right now. Dr Aedy was the BEST and he is sorely missed <3

HORRIBLE. Appointments cancelled continuously. how can he treat glaucoma or conjunctivitis if he keeps cancelling appointments. Botched up a cataract surgery too.

If he has medical problems himself he should inform his patients so they can go to someone else to get best care.

I am so glad we found another ophthalmologist to take us .

I was referred to Dr. Aedy for a serious problem. He diagnosed and treated me in a professional manner. The success has resulted in corrected and stabilized condition and I am grateful.

This guy is a moron. He did not recognize I had glaucoma. Had I stayed with him, I would have gone blind. Thank goodness for my own Optician who recommended someone else. I am now treated by another PROFESSIONAL. Dr. Aedy is a jerk.

We had a very positive experience with Dr. Aedy. We were able to schedule an appointment quickly. My daughter was seen on time. Dr. Aedy was professional, proficient, and explained everything thoroughly. He had a good rapport with my daughter. I was very pleased with the care she received.

After several months of having my appointments cancelled by the office, I tried to book a visit again but the receptionist was less than helpful. She looked and behaved as if she just rolled out bed, and stared at me blankly in return. I think I've had it.

I am a diabetic who was sent to Dr. Aedy for ongoing care. He repeatedly cancelled appointments, usually on the same day I was scheduled to be there. He never seemed to know why I was there, even after checking my charts. He told me repeatedly that he would check for glaucoma because it could sneak up on me as a diabetic but never did it, not even after months of vision deterioration. I finally had enough and requested another doctor who got right on top of the situation. I only wish I had changed sooner because by the time I saw the new doctor I already had a lot of glaucoma damage. I feel that I have really suffered because of Dr. Aedy's neglect.

Dr. Aedy has cancelled 10 appointments with me with very little explanation. But he is friendly and knows his stuff.
