Dr. Feige is an excellent doctor. He is very knowledgeable, but more importantly, he believes his patients and advocates for them.

Went for a sleep assessment because of loud snoring. When he examined me a swelling in my abdomen was found. Ultrasound showed a enlarged anerysm of the aorta which needed an opeartion which saved my life. Thank you.

For years my wife and kids had told me about my snoring and kicking. I finally relented and had things checked out. The staff on the night of the test were extremely professional. The consult with Dr Feige was thorough and unhurried. Despite my obvious disability he treated me with respect. The treatment with CPAP prevented the snoring and kicking, sweating and bad dreams AND dropped my blood pressure to normal levels again. These had been blamed on being from my other health conditions. I am very content with the outcome and have come to love sleeping again. Many thanks.

We had great service and a very positive improvement.
I had been intending to leave a review for some time but was pushed to do so by the irritating comments of the last reviewer.
My late husband had been snoring and had problems gasping at night for many years.
Although he had never admitted it to anyone else, he had three close calls where he had fallen asleep driving and almost rear-ended other vehicles. I wa afraid to be in the car with him.
He was a proud man, sounds much like the last reviewer. He was angry about being diagnosed with apnea and refused to return to the clinic.
The staff there explained no one was forcing him to go on the CPAP but if he didn`t want to treat the apnea, he could do a simple test to prove he was awake enough to drive.
He refused that as well and I guess the doctor had no choice but to send a report to the Ministry of Transport.
I reminded him that my brother has sleep apnea and feels well using the CPAP machine. It was only then that he agreed to try the treatment.
What a difference! He rapidly became far more awake especially when driving and was far less irritable in the day. He once again became the man I married.
I`m very thankful for the staff at the clinic and for Dr Feige for the work they did to improve my husband`s life, even though he was resistant to the idea and initially refused.
He has since passed away from an illness unrelated to his apnea but I`m grateful for the help we got. It made a huge difference in his last two years. Thank you.

worse experience I've had with a North Bay doctor. His staff was rude, bad mood and that was at 8:30 pm so you can imagine when I was waken up around 2:00 am with disconnected sensors. I was the first to arrive but I was the last one set up, around 11:00 pm. The results really surprised me when he said I had EXTREME apnea, having stopped breathing some 90+ seconds. A couple of weeks they called me up for a follow up and I told them I had booked another sleep night at the other clinic on Lakeshore. A few days later, I received a letter from the M.T.O. that my driving permit was suspended until further notice. My second test was passed with flying colors, tested with a state of the art apnea machine, Fegue's machine was obsolete, doesn't take an expert to notice that. M.T.O. received the second test but still insisted I give them another complete report on my diabetes. I have to say that every time they communicated with me was around 7 weeks after sending any report in. They took about 1 week to send me the cancellation of permit though!. This all started at the beginning of 2014. the last letter I received from the MTO was to tell me that I have to pass a driver's test with the nerve of saying that the test could cost between $400 and $800 , which didn't mean that my permit would be re instated. I'm turning 70 this August and I've been driving since 1965, and since 1985 in Ontario. I've had one ticket only around 10 years ago, That's it. nothing else. They take a report, don't check up on it, they take it away then fight to get it back. NO, I'm now driving a mobility chair, that gets me around the city, and my wife has her permit, and she drives when we go out of town. Thanks for nothing Feige.

Had years of nightmares. Turned out it was a combination of an earlier abusive situation and sleep apnea. With treatment with CPAP and some meds I now sleep well without the nasty dreams. Thank you.

AMAZING DOCTOR!!!! And to reply to the previous comment: If you have sleep apnea and a pilot license - legally you have to be reported! I'm glad he did! I wouldn't want a pilot falling asleep while flying!

My experience at Dr. Feige's clinic was the most unpleasant dealing I ever had with a physician. He gave absolutely no consideration to the excessive stressors (with associated lack of quality sleep and irritability) I was experiencing through my workplace environment and insisted that my issues were related solely to sleep apnea. After months of struggling for months with that infernal machine, which only increased my stress level, Dr. Feige had no advice whatsoever. All he did tell me was that the validity of my civilian pilot licence was on the line and that I had to get used to the machine. As of 4 months ago, the issues causing the stressors have resolved themselves and I have never been sleeping better. Also worth noting is that a minor skin condition I was experiencing has also gone away. Despite all of that, Dr. Feige continued to insist there was no correlation and that my sleep apnea needed to be treated. At that point I indicated to him (as well as my employer's health provider) that I no longer wished to deal with his clinic. Not even a month after that, he took it upon itself to inform Transport Canada of the situation as he perceived it without even consulting with me or the local Transport Canada certified doctor that has been completing my yearly medicals for the past 15 years
