If you are desirous of a doc that walks on water and parted the red sea then this is the doc for you. We all want the best care for our children. My Daughter has been dealing with some issues with scoliosis and it affects her hips and her quality of life. This doc was arrogant and dismissive and stated something like " You're 24, what could possibly be wrong with you". He was of no help whatsoever and offhandedly suggested an MRI. I work hard for my money and specialist co-pays are expensive. It is obvious he is only interested in helping you if it involves expensive surgeries. And I also loathe arrogance, I care not how many letters follow your name. This doc was a waste of money and valuable time.

I spent roughly 2 months scouring websites like this to find the perfect surgeon to carry out my operation. This is what I found: for every 1 person that has a positive experience and takes the time to write a review, there are 10 people that will report a negative experience. I chose Dr. Jones based on many recommendations and the reality that he is a Emory trained spine specialist. He is supportive yet honest, and will tell you the facts as they are. I much prefer a honest and knowledgeable doctor to one that will beat around the bush in an effort to maintain a “happy” patient. Dr. Jones is an incredible surgeon and I owe the last 3 years of my life to him. Thank you!

My husband 's back was a mess. Dr. Jones was honest in saying he needed a new back which he couldn't provide. He did surgery which relieved most of the debilitating pain. His staff has always been helpful from working to make appointments and surgery work with our schedule to arguing with our insurance to get needed tests performed.

This Dr is a liar. He did a spinal fusion on me.I went back to him due to unreliefed backpain. He ordered a MRI and xray. Then sent me for 3 spinal epidural. They didn't help.I went to another back Dr.He looked at the MRI and Xray report and ordered a another one.He couldn't see where I had a fusion at.He had to send for the post op report. He told me he did put some donor vertebrates in me but didn't put anything to hold them in place. He told me that I have missing vertebrates in my back and my spine was not stable.I had to have an extensive back surgery. He took him 6hrs to finish and told me that my back was the worst he have ever seen.Dr Martin saw that on his MRI film but didn't tell me .He lied and now I have a long rehabilitation and pain and suffering that could have been avoided.

His staff members are good. He tricked me to thinking my back fusion was in place.I kept having back pain, went to another doctor. This Dr performed a Xray and MRI.He said my fusion wasn't there .My back is on bad shape and I also have nerve damage from it.Dr Jones has me in his care for 2 years and wasn't truthful to me.Im saying this to warn others to be aware. He is a liar and a terrible orthopedic surgeon..

Dr. Jones and staff are the most excellent medical organization I've had the pleasure in dealing with throughout my struggle with back health issues. His excellent surgical care and performance enabled me a quality of life I had forgotten for many years. I am most grateful for his ability as a surgeon and follow-up care. HIs organization is highly proficient and equally supportive. Considering my years of experience with back pain, and in no form am I qualified to give medical advice, I am simply offering my opinion as to the respect I have for Dr. Jones, his entire staff, and Brookwood Hospital. I am a fan!

If Dr Jones cannot perform surgery on you, he will pass you along. He does not listen and he is arrogant. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He treats you as if you're a science project.

I fell while 5 months pregnant and injured my back. After the birth of my child, the back pain worsened. Other Ortho.and Neuro Dr.'s said there was nothing to be done..i needed a Pain Clinic..opted for another opinion instead. After another MRI and finally a very painful Discogram. Dr. Jones gave me the diagnosis. Ended up having a Spinal fusion. Dr. Jones was very Honest with me and could not guarentee the surgery would get rid of the pain. I still have some back pain but i can walk, was afraid i would be in a wheelchair before now. And i very rarely take anything for pain. That has been 10 years ago. Thank you Dr. Jones!
