Dr. Chas Manfresca is quite possibly the best physician left in any city. He has an old soul one of those guys that really listens to you not just hears blah blah. He truly cares about his patients and everyone I spoke to told me they absolutely loved him. I have been with him for 20 years. I have seen him on the average of once a month until he was given instructions to see each patient for only one ailment at a time then I saw him two to three times a month. The hospitals now a days own the Doctors and instruct them to spend only 15 min with each patient and so on. That is just plain stupid most of his patients are seniors and they need more time so he gives them the time they need. Now that is a good doctor. He is also an above average diagnostician. I know this because I have been a Medical Asst for over 45 years with a Doctor for a father and a psychologist/CCD111. So when I say Dr. Manfresca is a grand physician you can take it to the bank. When I was told that OSU thought he spent too much time with his patients therefore this electronic charting took too much time. OSU didn't get his contract renewed and he had been there go to guy sending him to all the different offices to get them to run smooth for 26 years once they started the electronic charting they let him go. OSU doesn't care about patients they only care about numbers. I felt as if someone had died in my family because he was my Doctor/my Best Friend and after being with him and him with me through my good and extremely tough times for 20 years. I am now 64 how am I to find a physician who knows about me as a person and a patient the good bad and the ugly of me. I won't live long enough to find a physician like him again. So after I am finished with my medication I am finished with Doctors. Most assuredly finished with OSU who took my Doctor away. I figure by now if God is ready for me I will be waiting for him to say the word. God truly broke the mold after Doctor Charlie. He is truly missed by myself and all of his other patients. I have listened to the doctors talk in the hall about" what a shock it is when the Charlie's patients can't see him anymore, every patient reacts the same way." Even they don't know what to do. They are young yet soon they will understand if they are lucky enough to have their patients love them as we loved our Doc. If they learn the art of caring. Bev N.
