Ca fait quelques années que je consulte Dr. carey, mais là, ça y est, je n’y retourne plus.
J’ai demandé à le voir pour une crise aigue de psoriasis. Il a paru indifférent et pas du tout intéressé à trouver une solution. J’étais déjà ébranlée et vulnérable lorsque je suis entrée dans son bureau compte tenu de la mauvaise crise que je traverse. Il n’avait pas de solution pour me soulager, compte tenu que je prend des médicaments poir le coeur. Il a suggéré des lampes de photothérapie mais ne pouvait me donner aucune référence ou me guider dans cette démerche. J’étais tellement découragée et déçue qu’il ne puisse pas me donner un certain soulagement que j’ai éclaté en sanglot devant lui. Quel embarassement. Je me sentais rédicule devant lui, mais n’a pas montré aucun signe d’ampathie. Pour lui, je suis une patiente parmis tant d’autres, c’est vrai, mais quand cette maladie affecte ta santé mentale, j’aimerais que le médecin me fasse sentir juste un peu que mon problème de psoriasis l’intéresse.
En passant, le Dr Carey était beaucoup plus aimable et patient et concerné lorsqu’il m’a fait des injections de remplissage d’acide hyaulorilique il y a quelques années. Beuacoup plus payant pour lui au privé!!!!!!!!
Une vrai honte! Bref, je suis encore soou le coup de l’émotion, et j’avais besoon d’en parler.

I went to see Dr Carey due to a worrying mole that suddenly appeared on my forehead. He looked at me for 10 seconds, said it was nothing, then proceeded to spend 15 minutes trying to sell me on two different cosmetic procedures. I just didn't feel comfortable with his assessment, so I followed my gut and went for a second opinion. Thank goodness I did because the next dermatologist removed it, sent it to pathology and discovered it was basal cell carcinoma. I am now being treated properly. Please avoid this doctor at all costs. He either does not care about his patients or just doesn't have the knowledge.

The staff were nice upon arrival and they made me sit in the exam room on time so I thought I would be seen on time but I waited 25 minutes only to have him walk in and briskly go through our appointment, he looked like he wanted to kick me out, interrupted me a couple of times and just ran right out of there. Worst dermatologist I've ever seen, and I've seen a subpar one already

Dr Carey is a great doctor. He is very efficient, gives you his input and is talented when it comes to dermatology interventions. I have seen him over the years and he is thorough, precise and he will answer all your questions. He will also reassure you about health issues when there is no need to worry. A word about the staff, they are very nice and they will always try to accommodate you. The clinic is very clean and inspires trust.

Amazing doctor! He has years of experience. He takes his time to answer your questions and will certainly reassure you by the end of your visit. Obviously he is extremely busy so have your questions ready.

Dr. Carey is very skilled, and kind. He and his staff helped me with severe rosacea and hyperpigmentation, and my husband with another medical condition requiring skin transplants. The transplants were so perfect there are no scars on my husband's face at all.

Très mauvaise expérience !!!
En juillet 2018, j’ai consulté le Dr Carey pour une tâche apparaissant sur une joue. Il m’a informé que c’était une tâche de vieillissement (je suis encore jeune d’âge), il me fait faire des séances au laser pour la faire disparaître, m’informant qu’il se pourrait qu’elle réapparaisse (à cause du vieillissement) ! Au début de l’année 2019, la tâche étant revenue, en plus mauvaise apparence, je suis retournée le voir et lui ai demandé une biopsie (il m’a donné l’impression que je l’ennuyais avec ma demande.) Fin d’année 2019, il m’annonce un cancer agressif de la peau, avec tout ce qui s’ensuit… je le déconseille vivement !

Unfortunate that I cannot give zero stars for this doctor. Walked in and he told me I would get melanoma because my mother had it and offered NO solutions other than completely staying out of the sun. (Please note that I am someone who wears 60 sunblock on a regular basis, even in the winter, and take good care of my skin and health). He also didn’t take any of my concerns regarding my birth marks seriously and completely wrote them off. Did not take anything I said seriously and was extremely rude and unpleasant. Would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy, avoid at all costs.
