One of the worst doctor's (and receptionist) experiences I have ever had. I had endometriosis and was in terrible pain for months (I also had a period that lasted 5 months). Before even examining me, she said there was nothing wrong with me and then while in the stirrups, made fun of a tattoo that I got 30 years earlier. When I came back to tell her I was still in pain, her first words were "you don't look like you're in pain". I started crying and she actually started yelling at me and said "What do you want me to do about it?!" I said I didn't care, anything! She snapped back "I don't know what you expect, but I'm not operating on you today"! She actually yelled at me in front of patients when I was leaving because I didn't know the hospital's phone number. The front desk girl was also the worst I've ever encountered. She actually laughed at me when I was leaving (I was crying hysterically). I did have endometriosis and had it removed by another doctor the week after I saw him.

Horrible experiences all around. Cant stress enough how RUDE she is. Her way is the only way. She does not listen to you, will NOT answer your questions, and is quick to judge. She makes you feel uncomfortable. Her practice also tries to squeeze every penny out of you. TWICE she has made me come in and pay my copay just to sit me down and say "You have this, make a new appointment" (!) I also had an emergency situation, she was the Dr. on call. She NEVER responded to my message, and her office is closed for TWO HOUR lunches, sometimes longer! Stay away at all costs.

She was one of the worst doctors I have ever been to. Did not listen to my concerns, her way was the best way. I would never recommend her to anyone. She was RUDE to me but was nice and sweet to my husband. Had Excruciating pain and was told "That's OK That's Normal". Went to another Doctor for a second opinion.

No bedside manner is right! I am 18weeks pregnant with my 3rd child and now have to find a new Doc, what a horrible time. Did not listen to anything going on with me, not willing to answer questions, wants to get you in and out. The last straw was her yelling at me and quick to argue. She is definitely in the wrong profession.

dr. vanata was my dr. while i was pregnant with my daughter. She never would give me pain meds to help with extremely bad sciatica and round ligament pain. she said it wouldnt help when i know it would bcuz i had the same prob. with my sons preg. she was RUDE. and then she was nice. it was like if you caught her on a bad day you were screwed. she was rude to my husband everytime he came. she actually yelled at me once in the hallway for coming into the office sick. She never even checked me for my sickness while i was 38wks preg. and later that nite i was in the ER for 2 days due to a respitory infection! when she is nice shes great she will hug you goodbye like your on a personal level with her but then theres days when shes in and out with a 2 minute check up and cant even give time for questions after you waited for a half hour to see her! and she couldnt induce me cuz my insurance wont cover Dr. Hospital of manteca so she sent me to county at 41wks, wasnt even induced till i was 42w

Never going back again. Did not want to switch OBGYN in the middle of my pregnancy but did switch to another doctor after series of upsetting incidents with her. (She actually yelled) Overall, very unprofessional. Not punctual at all. Often waited over an hour just so that she can see me for 5 min for check up. Does not spend time at all to go over the test results and check up is always so quick “in-and-out”. She made numerous derogatory comments toward working mom. I have never had such humiliating and upsetting experience at a doctor’s office.

I had the most horrible experience with Dr. Vanata. She has NO bedside manner, or compassion. She not only sent me away from her office in tears but I have had the job of comforting the patients she also sent numerous other patients away upset and in tears.

I have had 2 kids with her assistance. She was very professional, friendly and caring. She takes the time to know you and your issues. I highly recommend her as an OB/GYN. She does not beat around the bush, and I have learned she holds back when it is your best interest based on the circumstance. Very glad I found her!
