Dr Owen is deceased as of winter 2019 or 2020 but when I saw him all I got was " you are a good s..t" and medicine refills. He did write a great letter assisting me with going on Aish however I had to fight quite a bit to get it.

Doctor Michael Owen was abusive and bullying to me. After a cursory examination of me, he committed me without second opinion to a distant mental hospital for three weeks. I made many complaints about him to numerous authorities but nothing was done. Yes, he was dangerous.

Anyone who was treated by this man needs to revisit the work he did with them. He was deeply narcissistic and a danger to his patients.

I wanted to let those out there who may be interested that Dr. Owen passed away on January 8th 2020. I only know because I found his obituary as I did my occassional reading of the obituaries

This doctor made my life a living Hell. I know he did the same for other people. I wanted those other patients of his that recieved horrible care to have their minds be put at ease that they will never have to see this doctor ever again. My only hope is that regardless of how horrible he treated me that he did not suffer in death because no one deserves to suffer, not even Dr. Owen.

Also, my ratings of him were completely random. He discharged me from his care in 2011 in front of a waiting room full of patients and I hadn't seen him since so I wasn't sure how to rate him.

He shouldn’t work within mental health at all!! He absolutely dismissed my suicidal family member and told them nothing could help them. He shouldn’t practice any form of medicine, but especially not in mental health!

Met him once . Waited 2 mo to see him regarding ADHD. He was very late and then spent 20 min reading my charts in front of me . Then said yes I think you have adhd here is some medication. And that’s all. The medication is amazing ! Has changed my life but yeah I was kind of expecting maybe more info ?

My dear friend, who attempted suicide using meds was sent to this fool. After her 2 week stay on the psych ward he prescribed her a bottle of 500 pills of the exact same meds she attempted with! She questioned him on it , he just blew her off. She knew it was a very bad idea. She asked when she should come back he said "I don't need to see you again, but if you want to make an appointment go ahead". He is an egotistical,heartless practitioner who cares very little for his patients. He had an opportunity to help this young person, to change the path she was on. Instead he simply wanted her out of his office as if she was wasting his time. In the end, she took her own life, using perscription meds. Avoid this Dr. at all costs. He should never have been give a license to practice medicine.

Saw him twice - before I finally got in to see Dr. Rampling. This Doctor Owen was rude, made me uncomfortable and seemed to want to push anti-depressants. Appeared dismissive to my issues. When I left both appointments, felt insignificant and small - and not taken seriously. Would never go back to him again.

No doctor in their right mind would knowingly send a patient to this horrible pompous blow hard. How is he allowed to practice? He is exactly as other reviewers claim - a jerk who enjoys hearing himself speak. What a waste of time!

I saw him for 8 months, I will NEVER get that 8 months back. Please take the negative reviews from other patients seriously, they are quite accurate.
