Fred Young's wife, Lynda, has complained for years about his loss of hearing. One time she said that he would be standing in a close group with their four sons and was not joining in at all, because he was unable to hear what they were talking about. That should be a huge RED FLAG concerning his ability to hear the medical concerns that his patients are telling him about.

Dr. Young used to be a good Doctor, however with his increasing age and lack of office hours I feel he is more about just racking up billing.

My husband and I find him Extremely knowledgable --not afraid to referees to Specialists either--He always calls us at home also with Lab results-- He has been our family Doctor for many years ---We find him extremely caring!

Dr Young is caring--knowledgable--easy to talk to--great at returning reports--He has Doctored us for a long time and we just love him!

My husband and I have been with Dr Young since he was in Massey. We now travel to Elliot to see him. He has been very caring when we have had health problems and refers us out of town when needed.He has always made himself available ,even when we've called him at home. He always greets us , almost always on time, happily--- We just love him!

Difficult to understand. Very poor and uncompassionate service when my father had his heart attacks and died. Wish he would have had a better doctor.

Fred is getting up there in age and sometimes you have to tell him what you want done but he remains a fine family doctor and is respected by those who know his caring and humor filled personality.

Dr F Young is an excellent doctor.He has been my doctor for over 9 years.He is very thorough and can get you to a Specialist if required right away.Here in Elliot Lake we do not have to wait more 3 or 4 days to see him.I am 70 years old and feel very blessed that my wife and I are fortunate to have him.
