Dr.Winfield is one of the best doctors that ever had me in his care.
He is thorough, knowledgeable and compassionate

I feel compelled to write this review as I have visited Dr Winfield in the hospital on two locations. Most notably, this past visit was exceptional and Dr Winfield took great interest and care by expediting a visit to a surgeon in Owen Sound the very next day. As I wait to be assigned a local physician, I cross my fingers that Dr Winfield will be my GP.

In 2008 I was t-boned on a back road while driving.
I woke up in the ambulance and remember nothing of that accident except that I'm alive today because Dr Winfield was the doctor on call at the hospital that day.
He is straight to point and doesn't BS the situation at all.
This review is a long time coming.

Wow, I came across this and see that Harvey Winfield has a 4.5 out of 5. I find this extremely hard to believe. I have had major health issues since the age of 19.

I have seen Winfield on lots of occasions and every time I find the following.
1) Godlike complex
2) He is always right and you don't know nothing
3) Better than everyone else.

I would rather drop dead then have him look after me again. When I see he is working I drive to another hospital. He is also the Chief of staff for the hospital. Also, everyone I know who has had Dr Winfield thinks the same as I do.

So, are these above comments real?

I have dealt with Dr. Winfield extensively for severe and extensive mental health issues dispute constant belittling on my part he has remained compassionate and I truly believe is someone that will try their hardest to help you and the area is likely better for it. Truly, thank you doctor and staff.

Dr. Winfield was kind, caring and compassionate in helping with a family member who recently suffered from terminal illness. He took time to speak extensively with the family so that we could participate in the plan of care. His range of knowledge is astonishingly broad and he consults with other doctors if he has any questions or doubts about issues. Centre Grey Hospital is very lucky to have him.

Dr Winfield has always been very helpful and especially during my late wife's sickness. His knowledge about a wide variety of topics never fails to impress me. He really is a special doctor.
