Dr. Beken has been a life-saver for me. When I was first referred to her, I spent my days in bed in a fetal position in extreme pain, could not walk down my own little driveway or think straight from the pain. No other dr. could figure out what was happening to me. Dr. Beken diagnosed my condition and gave me the correct medication, education and therapies to stop my decline, ease my severe and unrelenting pain. She helped my heal and get a life back! All with warmth, empathy and kindness - something I had given up looking for in a neurologist. (She also helped me deal with the migraines I'd suffered with since age 14!) I know I am blessed to be cared for by her and her cheerful, competent office manager.

First doctor that I went to that truly understood my pain and listened. Very thorough evaluation and offers newer treatments for chronic pain.

She was wonderful. I realized that she diagnosed my injuries on the very first visit. two complex diagnoses with multiple dimensions each. Also very kind. she had to give me a painful test and was very sympathetic.
