a man who truly cares about his patients. He has been looking after my mom for many years and I am grateful for his kind, respectful nature. Old-school style. He takes his time to explain things. A good doctor for someone who is proactive about their health. Excellent follow-up. Needs time to 'warm up' to a patient

I visited this doctor, and his attention was poor and bad, he was very arrogant. When I tried to explain my symptoms, he just cut me off and treated me bad, like a I didn't know about anything about my diseases, I tried to explain that I have problems of pre diabetic and he just got really angry or at least he looked like it. He never even checked my symptoms, even my stomach, he didn't ask me anything relevant and he just prescribed the medicine and gave me a sheet with exams, I don't want to see him anymore, I speak Spanish like him but he made me feel very humilliated and dismissed. Awful!

This doctor has to many patients firstly. He is also biased as he only has people of his culture. He rushes through meetings and forget's what he said or promised, etc.

i have visited many doctors and of all, dr. benitez has been the kindest and hardest working doctor i have come across. he explains things very clearly and even on his days off, takes the time to visit me in the hospital. i don't know what i will do if he ever retires.

Even though he is a very approachable doctor, I find that he dismisses warning signs regarding other things. I have had numbness and pain in my hand for quite a while and he just dismisses it as nothing. Also was diagnosed with Diabetes couple of months ago and was only given meds, I had to ask to be referred to a diabetic clinic after getting a second opinion ( upon mothers urging). Perhaps he has to many patients and he can't give them the care he needs.

Dr. Benitz is a caring, good person, and a true family doctor. He sees myself on a regular basis, and never has treated me, or spouse with anything other than kindness. The staff at Hilltop Medical are beyond reproach. So lucky to have this clinic in our area

My 80 yr old father was in the hospital with various health issues and his dementia was becoming worse. I made an appt to see Dr. Benitez who was treating my father at the time and asked for an update on his condition. He evaded my question and went on to offer his "opinion" about a personal family issue. I was in shock that he would stray from his professional responsibility as a Doctor and make a personal judgment/statement totally unrelated to my visit. To this very day - I am still in shock about his behavior.
