Amazing doctor!! I couldn't say enough great things about him. I had an emergancy C-Section. He kept me calm, yet helped me understand the seriousness. He was there to answer any ?'s I had. My daughter is perfect and I healed perfectly. My scar is very minimal. When I have my next baby, I will follow him to where ever he goes so he can deliver it.

I was referred to this Dr because of a 'bulky' uterus, and I found him to be very compassionate and caring, only wanting what was best for me. He suggested a hysterectomy, and after I talked to many people about him and his work, I was confident that he was someone I could trust to do my surgery. I had been told by many people including other doctors, that he would never do surgery unless its absolutely necessary. He has great bedside manners and really does care about you as a person, not just an object. I am so sorry to hear that he is leaving the community. He will be sorely missed, but Toronto is getting an awesome gyn/ob....that is for sure!!!

He delivered my first child- a son.He let me take my time pushing so I didn't have any tears or cuts and therefore healed much more quickly. Patience and gentleness are great priorities for him. You want to hug him when you see him, because you remember how much he cared for you as a patient. I pray he's on call when I deliver in a few weeks.

This is the most amazing, caring doctor. He did my hysterectomy and honestly, he is the only surgeon I have had that has come to see me every day that I was an in-patient. Wonderful person as well as doctor, we need more of him.

Very good doctor. I ended up seeing him at the end of my pregnancy because my other doctor was going away. I was very concerned, but I ended up liking him MUCH better. He is very helpful and makes you feel comfortable. Sad to see him go!!

He is a very compassionate Dr. and takes time with you and getting to know you, but when I had him for my last pregnancy I found that he didn't want to take the time to listen to what I was saying about my pregnancy (this was my 4th) The result was that by carrying my child an extra week and a half he was dropped too low and had broken blood vestles in his eyes because of the pressure on his skull. Had I carried to term I likely could have delivered a still born child. Dr. Elkelani, was very apologetic, and was sincere and caring afterwards though. Only recomendation is that sometimes even though you have the medical degree, it pays to listen to the woman because after all she knows her body (especially by the 4th pregnancy)

Dr El Kelani performed a recent surgery for me and he was wonderful. He even left me a little note will I was still sleeping just to let me know that things when very well. I have been having problems with miscarriages and it is unfortunate that he is leaving because now I am going to a specialist in Saskatoon to look into these issues. But the wait time for Dr. T Smith in Saskatoon is 6 months so I don't have an appointment until July. I really wish that Dr. El Kelani was staying because I would feel very confident in him delivering my children in the event that I am ever able to carry a baby to term. Good Luck Dr. El Kelani. We will miss you greatly.
