Dr. Wenzel delivered both of our children C-Section as well as performing a D&C following a misscarriage. She's been very warm and personable throughout, we love her like a member of our own family. She's thorough and communicative and remembers details of her patients and their lives even when you see her on the street. The only negative we have is that the practice is very busy and wait times can be extraordinary there.

After a disastrous birth at the UIHC, I went to Dr. Wenzel for my second child. She was patient, kind, to-the-point, direct, very thorough in both her examinations and explanations, and both my baby and I sailed through a difficult c-section with no complications. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is remarkable. She and her entire OB/GYN practice are very busy, and so do not have extra time to spend with each visit, but she is thorough and talented and smart.

I was not impressed with Dr. Wenzel. She did not take time to answer questions, let alone give me time to ask them because she was in and out. She also was very quick to push a D&C when we found out I had had a miscarriage, and was very blunt when she told us that had happened without any sympathy or gentleness.
