Dr ID and Ann are so wonderful to deal with. Dr ID is thorough and knowledgeable with assessments; ensuring I feel heard. The receptionist Ann always makes sure to book my appointments in a timely fashion. Thankful for all your patient care!

Dr ID has been our family doctor for 10+ years and normally he has been really good and easy to get in to see. But this past year it's been super frustrating, Both myself and my husband have has appointments made and they are constantly getting cancelled with no availability to rebook for days or a week. This last time my appointment was cancelled twice and it was him that wanted my back after a week. It's a quite serious concern and the longer I have to wait to see him the worse my condition is getting. I know that he also works at the hospital because of staffing shortages but his patients are suffering. I feel bad for his secretary because she is the one who always has to call and reschedule everyone all the time. It's really too bad that his care for his patients is declining because he really is a great doctor.

Dr. Akinjinse has now canceled my appointments for the 6th time in a row. I have needed fairly urgent medical care to prevent a deformity with Graves Disease and he has not given timely care. When he suspected thyroid issues he neglected to do a full panel, forcing me to go get multiple tests of bloodwork, ultrasounds, and scans before considering starting treatment. Now I can't get in to see him to even start treatment and I am stranded trying to find medical care many months after the initial appointment and health scare. I have now given up on trying to get in and am seeking a new doctor although all that is available currently is walk-in clinics which is quite frustrating as my diagnosis requires ongoing care.

Receptionist is horribly rude and can’t get an appointment set up because they don’t listen to how you spell your name or listen to anything. Just as we hello what? Not professional at all. What is how we anser the phone? This is month 4 of problems getting my prescription faxed. Serious issue and can die without my medicine and disabled but have to walk there 4 times in two days to make sure they fax the damn prescription. Over and over and they will charge you for canceling an appointment due to being admitted to hospital with notice but they can set appointments and not show up multiple times. Horrible place all around. Doctor needs to get new receptionists. It’s all over every site hundreds of reviews yet it’s still same hurtful miserably low life receptionist who treats patients like crap. No one deserves to be abused by simply walking into an appointment or on phone calls being told “what” instead of hello. If you’re so miserable then why take it out on people daily. Say they will call back and have to chase receptionist down for weeks on end to get referral or prescriptions faxed. Go to office multiple times and can’t leave with prescription only allow faxing but then don’t fax it and daily walk their for 4 days and still no prescription. It’s unfair treatment and really affecting mental health as well as physical health to have to beg for prescriptions that keep you alive. This is hundreds complaints but they don’t do anything to fix it only gets worse. Dr would be manageable if they got new receptionist who weren’t bitter and actually did their job. They also laughed and called an autistic lady “are you slow how do you not know how to sign your name” yes short receptionist she is slow she’s got developmental issues you nimrod. Watching that go down was the end. My heart broke for that poor lady. It’s okay to hate speech the disabled though. Dr I’d needs ti take complaints serious and find proper receptionist because this is out of control.

Brutal receptionist and terrible if u need any pain medd cuz he cant prescribe them. He tried telling me after major surgery in Edmonton and I ran out of meds that he wouldn't prescribe me any because if his concern for addiction. Crap that was cuz I found out his allowance for prescribing meds is very limited cuz he was caught over prescribing them for those addicted patients he is supposedly trying to keep from getting thst way. I hadta gonto Emerg to get the pain meds needed to function. He's just another Dr in it to get richer with not a hole lot of concern for his patients.

Never on time always late. Rather give pills then an actual exam or other options. Never listens and always rushed. And now during this pandemic I wouldn’t go there!

I have been a patient of Dr Id’s for about four years now. He is not very thorough. He does not seem to ask very many questions. His reception is quite terrible. Maybe he needs to take on less patients so he can actually care for the ones he has. Booking appointments or refilling a prescription takes weeks literally! And don’t expect a call back from this office doesn’t matter how many messages you leave. Sadly I will be looking else where now for a new family doctor.
