Yes he may be very busy and a bit overwhelmed sometimes but you won’t find someone who truly cares about is patients as much as dr. Duranleau. He is up to date with new research and not money orientated. The receptionist is very professional.

There was some back and forth with the staff, but I found some of them more helpful than him. He humiliated me, and he dismissed me a lot. As some reviewers have mentioned, he went on a rampage, and each time it seemed like he wanted to get rid of me, like rushing to the front desk. I was hoping to get help and I see how he is knowledgeable and good with most reviewers on here.

Pris de problèmes cervicales et dorsales je lui dois beaucoup, il ma pris en charge ,et ma apporté un support complet. Il n'y a rien de pire que la souffrance, il se donne pour ces patien et trouve la solution..Grande compétence, et efficacité mon traitent il a ma confiance complète. Merci d'être là. G.Cloutier.

I agree with the last 3 reviews; the last one especially. I too consider him a healer rather than a medical specialist. Dr. Duranleau, by alleviating the pain and being kind, generous and caring, offering a variety of ways to get better, relieved the anxiety caused by other doctors who just prescribed meds, which is not the answer. No other doctor told me about the machines that this doctor uses, which helps enormously. His secretary, Lidia is also very caring, very sweet. I am very grateful to all the staff there and at J.E. Docteur Duranleau est un très bon Physiatre, il me soigne depuis 21 ans pour mes douleurs chroniques. Il a toujours été est attentif à mon problème et toujours à l'écoute et prend le temps qu'il faut pour explique et nous rassurer. Il est à la hauteur dans son domaine, très professionnel. Je le recommande.

Le Dr Duranleau est un Excellent physiatre. Il connait son métier comme sa poche. Je me trouves chanceux d'etre suivi par lui depuis 7 ans déjà pour ma maladie dégénérative et une SLA. Il fait un suivi très précis. Il hésite pas a demander des IRM au lieu de simple radiographies. Il possède a son cabinet, du matériels et des appareilles derniers cris pour le dos et autres. De plus, avec lui, on a le nécessaire pour bien traiter la ou les douleurs éfficacement. Il est sur-compétant, doué et très humain comme docteur. Je le considères comme un guérisseur plutot qu'un médecin spécialiste. Voilà.

Etant aux prises avec des douleurs chroniques récurrentes, il s'est montré professionnel, empathique et à l'écoute de ma situation. Ses traitements ont aidé. Je le recommande totalement.

Denis Duranleau was extremely rude and unprofessional when I visited his office for the first time. I was kept waiting over an hour, yelled at, and got at most 60 SECONDS of his time. He acted as if I was a bother to him and he had to get rid of me as quickly as possible.
My reason for seeing him was pain in the elbow. He didn't ask any questions or check the joint - no examination - for a doctor of physical medicine not to even touch the joint to see where it hurt is absurd. He yelled "What do you want!" I asked if perhaps a splint would help the pain during the night. He rushed me to the reception desk in the lobby, scribbled out a prescription for a split. The few seconds of "consultation" took place at that desk in front of the two receptionists and then he took off. I was in shock.
The staff do their best working with someone like him.
AVOID THIS DOCTOR AT ALL COSTS.
