Smashing your head repeatedly against a brick wall is more helpful. I am so glad I am not the only one who felt this way. I had been going to him for a few years & he was treating my depression. But i think my symptoms only started to get worse when I met him. He just wants to medicate you. He doesn't know anything. I would always go in thinking he could give me some advice and I could go on feeling better about myself. But each time I came in I left feeling so so so much worse. I really started to think that something was seriously wrong with me. I am so embarassed to say I went to him for so many years. I feel raped for having paid him as much as I did. He was a complete and utter waste of time & money. It was always a chore to go see him. He is so skinny, go buy yourself something to eat with all the money you stole from me. & like some1 said previously there were many times I wanted to report him for inappropriate behavior but couldnt be bothered. He has nothing to offer anyone.

This guy has the biggest attitude and he really doesn''t listen. He thinks he is God. I was going to report him for inappropriate behavior but couldn''t be bothered with all the paper work. If you go to him you MUST use the therapist in his office and he won''t make any exceptions. I had a therapist that I really liked before going to him and he told me he would not treat me unless I went to his therapist. I did and she was OK but not at good as the person I was going to. He was rated as a good doctor by Castle Connolly''s doctor ratings but I found out that other doctors provide the ratings for this book. Find a doctor that you really like and ask them for a referral, but stay clear of this one.

I saw Dr.Rosenfeld for many years and he seems devout of any empathy and any desire to be supportive. At times I felt psychologically abused.I will go home and cry for days before I recover. I always hoped that things will get better as we get to know each other but they actually got worse. I also couldn't understand why he was on Connelli's America's Top Doctors List.

I agree with the other poster. He is such an obnoxious man and I think it's possible that he's lacking any sort of heart. But his therapist, Livia McGinnis is amazing. I definitely wouldn't waste time on this guy if you want to get any sort of help -- he's such an arrogant jerk... I wish there was something nice I could say about him but I end up feeling worse about myself everytime I see him.

This MD was rated the best in NY Magazine and I WILL NEVER KNOW HOW HE GOT TO BE IN THERE. He is arrogant, lack empathy, has an attitude, will not see you unless you see the therapist in his office. Nice scam. I went to him for medication and was seeing another therapist but he would not see me unless I saw the one in his office. He had an attitude and I WOULD NOT RECOMEND HIM AT ALL.
