I would never recommend. Disrespectful, condescending, super controlling, doesn’t care...not the qualities of a healer. Your time and needs are not important once he gets your $$$. There’s a reason why so many of his patients write angry reviews. Why does he constantly have defend himself in reviews? A good doctor does not have to defend himself. Disclosing patient info in reply to public reviews is unprofessional and a HIPAA violation. There’s a reason why the prices are so high and the waiting room is empty. Find a good doctor who cares.

Anyone who knows our practice will quickly realize this is a malicious review by an angry and upset person who is not getting answers anywhere they look. Compassion is one of our 5 core values at CHM and we take those very seriously. I wish this person the best in their health journey and hope they find happiness.

Absolute disregard for my well being and financials

Got a diagnosis and that was only good side

Kept adding meds
Didn’t add detox till added
Muscharge (fixed with attitude)
Had a desk person disrespect personal space at a visit that followed a disagreement on the phone. Was physically(though lightly grabbed not harmful but assertive to be clear) and told not to get mad at her

Cool yeah let’s not get mad when account has been mischarged. Doctor doesn’t know meds and both Financial person and other practitioners admit to having issues across the board

Anyone who visits our practice knows our front desk person (Dama) is an angel. She is loved by almost everyone that visits our office. Our core values are Respect (for our patients and our staff); dependability; integrity, compassion and truth. We are very transparent and we are not sure if this review is even placed here by one of our patients. Our MO is not ''adding meds'' so that alone speaks to the fact that this may be a fake review. - JP Saleeby, MD

Left me in a worse situation than I was in before I saw him.

Our center helps hundreds successfully. However there are a few that don't respond to therapy. No fault of anyone, it is just in part resistance to treatment, genetics, the disease itself (some things are just not curable) and also the commitment a patient makes to undertaking therapy.

I am sad for this individual, because we could not help them after trying our hardest (as we do for all our patients because we are patient advocates) this person lashes out so harshly against us in this review. The staff and I at CHM genuinely hope this individual does find peace and wellness.

Not sure about all the negative reviews in the past but things are very different now. Possibly the new office manager Linda has helped transform the place into a very friendly and comfortable healing center. They also have double their staff and I like the new nurse practitioners and the other services they offer you cannot get anywhere else in the Myrtle Beach area. I have been very happy with my recent experience.

In the healthcare industry staff turnover is rather high. We set out to establish some core values that we uphold and expect both our patients and our staff and providers to hold on high. They are Honesty, Respect, Dependability, Integrity and Compassion. Because of our growth we are always seeking out new and great people to help us take great care of our patients.

Had initial visit, lab work, spent more than $500 on labs, visit, and supplements suggested by MD. Went back for follow up and had another visit in 2 months to recheck lab work . 2 weeks prior to my scheduled appoint, I received a letter that he was no longer taking any insurance. I was told I could pay out of pocket, but I pay for insurance, why would I pay for insurance and then pay him out of pocket. It's obvious his concern is not patient care but making money. I was so hopeful when I made the appt that I had found a physician that was interested in improving my health. So, now I have to find another doctor, pay for another visit in order to obtain refills for medication. He has stopped taking all insurance and medicare even though his website states differently. He states he is doing this to prevent the insurance company from dictating the care, but I would be willing to pay out of pocket for additional tests, etc that were not covered by insurance if he felt they were needed

This patient is very angry about our office terminating all our managed care contracts. It was an unfortunate situation but one necessary for the life of the practice and also for the better treatment with no conflicts of interest for our patients. It is unfortunate that this patient did not see this for what it was worth. I hope this patient did find a doctor within his/her insurance plan that offers the same great care and time with patients that we do at Carolina Holistic Medicine.

There seems to be an overabundance of negative reviews on ratemds.com so we believe it is the same person leaving multiple negative reviews. For comparison visit: healthgrades.com; health.usnews.com; vitals.com those reviews are more in line with what we do at CHM and our providers. -JP Saleeby, MD

Dr Saleeby seems like he may be a good doctor, I Never got to see him. After paying the full amount for the Bio marker/blood work. Which was told to me would cover everything including the review with the doctor. He Changed his prices and expected me to pay more to go over the results a few weeks later. Totally not right.

Another angry patient who cannot get over the fact that we had to terminate our managed care contracts to remain in business. Our services and the attention to detail we provide our patients along with a Functional Medicine approach is ill-understood by the Insurance companies and conventional medicine. In order to deliver the BEST care to our patients, we had to divorce ourselves from the "insurance model". Our patients must understand that a necessary investment is necessary to insure long lasting good health. To better understand what we do visit: http://www.slideshare.net/YusufJPSaleebyMD/fork-in-the-road-2016

For less than the cost of a tune-up for your car (that you will trade in after 2 to 4 years) we offer advanced biomarker and functional medicine paradigm healthcare that can predict your risk for disease and help you prevent chronic illness that can cost thousands upon thousands of dollars in the long term. So if one looks carefully at what we do, we actually save our patients thousands of dollars and more importantly save their health and wellbeing at a fraction of the cost of traditional healthcare.

Horrible experience! Go elsewhere for quality care.

I don't even know how to respond to this vitriolic review. If this patient would kindly call our office, I would like the opportunity to make this right. This single review is the antithesis of what our other reviews are on Vitals and Healthgrades sites. It is simply an anomalous review.

Come experience what medicine should be.... providers that actually listen to their patients, not rushed to see 40 patients in one day. We specialize in ''listening'' and oftentimes just doing that seemingly simple act will eventually lead to the root cause of the illness.
