I am a women’s health/postpartum nurse and I have never been so disgusted by a doctor. His bed side manner was terrible, he brushed off my concerns and basically said “these are symptoms of early pregnancy” (well DUH, I knew what they are) when I was worried I was ectopic. I was asking questions more for reassurance and he said and i quote “it doesn’t matter what you do if you miscarry it happens.” I have never been so upset leaving from a doctor. This doctor should definitely not be practicing anymore. He didn’t even recommend a transvaginal ultrasound. Basically told me an ultrasound wouldn’t pick up anything at the early stage I was at. He was not knowledgeable for how long he has practiced. Do yourself a favour and just avoid seeing him!!! His staff told me “he’s amazing” well I absolutely beg to differ.

Dr Harris has been my doctor for 30+ years. I have also seen other physicians for specialized treatment, surgeries, etc.
Throughout the years it has become obvious that he has uncommon analytical skills, keeps current, and is patient and methodical in his diagnosis and treatment of of his patients.
My contacts with nursing and support staff that interact with him and his patients tell me that he is respected and highly regarded by his peers and the clinical and hospital teams that he works with.
I have the highest regard for him, and attribute my ongoing good health to his care and guidance over the years. Thank you!!

Harris is terrible both in knowledge and care of his patients. His lack of care at not looking at an infection cause me to be in hospital for 6 1/2 months and over a year with home care. I had to have major surgery and ended up with 20 in by 12 in cut off my lower back and leg. Some of it down to the bone. He is a threat.

Went to Dr Harris after my first stroke. Somehow he seemed to think that my neurological problems were the result of gout. Not competent or sensible.
Was never able to get my records after that and went without any family doctor for almost ten years. Was only 3 months ago I had heart failure and very nearly died, and am now looking at disibility for life or impending death.
He should have retired over a decade ago. How many other peoples lives has he screwed out of his arrogance and incompetence over his career?
I believe in credit where it's due, and have to say his reception and staff were polite, friendly, and efficient.

He has been my doctor since I was 15 years old I am now 54 and I will be so sad when he is not my doctor any longer, he has been amazing for me and my family! I know there’s people that don’t think he’s the best doctor but I think that goes for any doctor each to their own but for me he has been the best doctor I could ask for and has got me through many many things in life and I thank him for that.

Poor communication skills. Doesn’t want to listen to concerns. Made me wait in his exam room for over 30 minutes while he was on his computer and no one else was waiting to see him. It was so rude that his receptionists apologized to me! He needs to retire!!! The comments from nurses who know him at the Vic hospital are not positive. If he has to ask the nurses what they want him to order for patients it makes you wonder if he is just going through the motions. Time to pack it in!!

Dr. Harris diagnosed my illness right away amd treated it very effectively. However, it is not all good news. He really needs to something with his hairstyle. A little gel, perhaps?

I went to Dr. Harris by pure coincidence when I was pregnant as my doctor was away. I was in rough shape and after meeting with him for only a few minutes knew that he was an amazing man. He agrees to take me on As a patient and delivered my baby. I honestly feel like he saved me as he listened to me, got me connected to appropriate services and always made time to see me. He has been an excellent dr for both my son and myself and never dismisses my concerns. He really listens to his patients and is not afraid to refer to specialists when appropriate. I love his receptionist Brenda who is just awesome. Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Harris
