I've been a patient of Dr.Maki's for many years and have never had a problem with him. He does seem like a serious person but I've been able to make him laugh several times! He does often rush but I just let him know that I'm not finished and to take a load off and have a seat!! He's not a bad doctor!

Dr. Maki saved my life by sending me for a breast biopsy eventhough my mammogram showed no signs of cancer. I did have breast cancer as the biopsy showed.

I have had Dr. Maki for over 20 yrs. I am not Finnish. I find this doctor to be no nonsense and up front with me eveeytime. He has taken me through some bad times with a very professional manner and I have not got a negative thing to say about him. He's a very busy doctor and my hat is off to him!!!

Dr. Maki has been my doctor my whole life and has now taken on my family. He has always taken the additional step in finding us exceptional care. He is always asking about my family's health and truly does still care. All these people that are complaing about him, should clearly quit wasting his time and find someone else. I don't know who you are seeing cause it isn't Dr. Maki. And as for the secretary and nurse, they are both fantastic people and super at what they do. Dr. Maki has himself a great team and my family will be so sad when he retires.

*PATIENT BEWARE* I believe Dr. Maki is just 'playing' Doctor now and has lost all interest in his profession. I was totally misdiagnosed by this man and it almost cost me my life. I will never have confidence in this man again. If you do continue with him DON'T let him put you off if you beleive something is wrong with you. It's our tax dollars that pay him his salary!

Dr Maki is not a patient man anymore. He has been my Dr since birth, he is my kids Dr and my husband. He has let each and every one of us down, I went in feeling unwell, listed some concerns and symptoms, but his Stethoscope coulnd't find anything, so I was sent home. This is not the first time I have or my family member has been dismissed by him. I currently have a health issue I need to see a Dr about but going to him is not an option, as his stethoscope won't pick anything up on this one either. Time to retire the stethoscope Dr Maki, or start taking proper care of your patients, you are the most unapproachable Dr I have met, and I have met a few being in the business!

I have been seeing Dr. Maki for 40 years now. He has been a very good family doctor when I was younger and now with my new family. He has always taken his time and has shown compassion when needed. It is only rare that I have a longer wait than normal. Doctor Maki can only treat you if you give him the proper information. If the problem still exsits go and see him again. I have never had a problem getting a referal and he was super when the obstetric doctors were on strike. He will be my doctor until he retires. Janice maybe no nonsense but she gets you in especially when it has to do with my children. The children like her and Doctor Maki as you can tell by the posted artwork.

Dr. Maki has been my doctor most of my life. I never new how bad he was till I started having problems. I can't recall how many days of work I had missed to go in and wait for him to tell me, " your young, it's probably just something your eating!". I had to get pretty upset before he finally sent me to a specialist which soon found I had Chrone's disease. One time when going for blood work, I asked the blood clinic to also do an H.I.V test, figuring in this day and age it's better to be safe than sorry. They said they would just send the results to my family doctor. Well, when missing more time from work, I waited over an hour from my appointment time, to find out he did not accept my results! Why? Because he was not the one who sent me in for the test. I guess I had to miss more work to come in so he could send me in, so he could make the money off that visit! I will wait in a after hours clinic before waiting for him anymore. And dont' get me going on the secritary, one ****yoldlady

I left Dr Maki as a patient long ago for his lack of listening to what was ailing me and I was often being misdiagnosed. I pleaded with my parents to leave his practice as well, but they were faithful to him. Now my father understands because the same is happening to him.. He now calls him Dr Dolittle.. Cause he does little..
