I am not too impressed with Dr. McIntosh. She may be good at treating patients for common ailments such as the flu or a cold. However, When I called for a refill of blood pressure meds that I have been on for years she refused to fill this until I came in. I have had no problems at all with this medication and each time I saw her my BP was fine. It was 2 weeks before payday and she refused to fill this even for two weeks until I could pay for the visit. My choices were to go to ER or wait until I can see someone. At that time I decided that if the money was more important than the patient, I don't need to continue with her. I had been a patient for 2 years. Many family members see Tamera and think she is great however, they all have insurance of some sorts, sadly I don't.

The area doctors us Tamera as their doctor. That is not by chance because she is a very very good doctor. She has no God complex. She will do anything she asks her staff including cleaning the office. Her skills are very knowledgeable. The only non perfect score is punctuality but that is because you are a patient, not a time slot. If you need more time, you will get the time. She and her staff goals are health care, not making masses of money. Bravo Zulu to her. (Navy talk for saying very very good!!)

Dr. McIntosh is one of the last doctors I would call "a true small town caring doctor." She and her entire staff (especially Kim and Tara) are very professional, helpful, and friendly. As they say, "they don't make them like that anymore." Several members of my family see her, including my aging parents and she treats them with the utmost respect and compassion, just as she does with every patient that I know. I would not have anyone else as my family doctor. She is thorough, caring, and takes the time she needs with each patient. That's worth waiting for! I consider myself so fortunate to be her patient; they are all like family!

I love Dr. McIntosh and her staff. One one is not friendly, all others are very wonderful about helping a person. Hats off to them and being the only Dr. in Ohatchee she is not only good but travel is wonderful.

Very caring doctor that definately looks out for the best interest in her patients. She is always willing to go the extra mile for a patient. She has quite a few patients for her area, so waiting time can sometimes be lengthy, but if you are searching for quality, you've come to the right place.
