After numerous visits to my gynecologist in Princeton WV explaining to me that some women had more painful menstrual cycles than others, I had heard enough. I left that office in tears, angry as I got no answers once again. I knew there was something worse going on. So after ranting a couple days to friends, family and co workers, one of my friends suggested Dr. Luby. She was from Charleston and said he was very well known treating pelvic pain and periods. I decided to give him a try, praying I would get answers. From the first phone call to the office, the staff was exceptionally caring and so helpful. I was given an appointment I believe 2 days after the call, so no wait at all. My mother and I went to the appointment and when Dr. Luby came in and I started explaining my symptoms, pain, heavy menstrual cycles. He immediately mentioned to me endometriosis. He was blown away no doctor had ever mentioned to me or tried doing laparoscopic surgery to confirm the diagnosis. I felt like a sense of relief after just the first appointment and his concern for my pain and condition. He was so sympathetic with me, which you usually do not get with a doctor. You’re basically normally just a number. But definitely not here. My surgery was scheduled on the very first appointment and a few weeks later it was confirmed I did have endometriosis. After the surgery, I began having more severe pain and then got a cyst on my ovary. Dr. Luby explained we needed to get the ovary out. A little over a week post op now, I am having little to no pain. He had to remove my appendix because it was also plastered with endometriosis. He was able to get 100% of it and I cannot wait for the next menstrual cycle to come because I’m believing for NO PAIN! Every single person on his staff is awesome. So friendly, helpful and concerned for your every need! Highly highly recommend Dr. Luby and look forward to what’s in store for me and a better quality of life because of him !! Thank you Dr. Luby. :)

Feel I received the very best possible outcome from my total hysterectomy. Easy recovery and very knowledgeable. Takes his time and ensures best possible resolution. Highly recommend

Dr Luby is fantastic! He's one of a kind, you walk in to his office as a patient, and leave as if you're family or best friends. I can't say enough good things about him and his staff! I was referred to Dr. Luby’s office because my regular ob/gyn doesn’t handle the bladder slings anymore. I was able to get an appointment quickly, his entire office was nothing but kind, courteous, and made me feel at ease. He is the best doctor around. He takes his time to explain what’s going on, what he’s doing, what options you have, what to expect, every step of the way. I couldn’t be more thrilled. He’s a wonderful guy who treats you with respect, and is so concerned with your all around well-being. I can’t thank him and his staff enough. Surgery was a month ago, I'm already feeling better than I have in years. He's went ABOVE and BEYOND for me. I went to his office for a checkup and mentioned my migraines. He referred me to someone. Seriously, that isn't even what I was there for but he took time to listen to my issue about those too, and found me help. He's amazing, and you won't regret seeing him EVER! After bing recommended by my family doctor, Dr Luby removed my ovaries and cysts with robotic surgery. He was very thorough throughout the time I was in the hospital. He is very knowledgeable in his field and I highly recommend him. I had very little scaring and absolutely no problems afterwards!

I was very impressed with Dr. Luby. He was professional and thorough in his testing and assessments. The office staff helpful and friendly. After years of problems progressively getting worse, I decided to have surgery. The problems are gone and I feel so much better! Thank you Dr. Luby!

Dr Luby did a robotic hysterectomy on me a couple of years ago. He was very meticulous with his incisions and my scars are barely visible now. He released from the hospital the next day and I had very little pain. I was able to just take Ibuprofen. No pain meds needed! I would recommend Dr Luby to anyone needing gynecology surgery! He is the best in the valley!

After operating on me to do a partial hysterectomy I was in constant pain. He told me to just deal with it and that it would go away eventually. I had to go to another dr and had three more surgeries to fix it. I almost died from blood loss. New dr would not directly state anything about Dr Luby but after my new dr talked to him Dr Luby called me and stated I didn’t have to pay any of the dr bills. Don’t want him near anybody I know!

Dr. Luby left me needing a double hernia repair after my csection. He also missed a staple and I got an infection. When I went in for my check up he told me I hadn't taken care of the wound. He took a dry hard paper towel and scraped it until it bled. Then his nurse saw the staple that had been missed. Worst experience of my life!!!

I think a lot of Dr Bernard Luby he is a super Dr my daughter and I both thing a lot of Dr Luby He delivery my daughter's children then he did my hysterical he has really good bed manner he is a super Dr I would recommend him to any female that looking for a gync sincerely Deborah L TYree
