Dr. Stewart is a true friend to me and my family. He is there when we need him.

Dr Stewart is not my family dr, but on a few occasions my doctor had no appinments open and my children were really sick (high fever, sore throat) and he has no problem seeing another dr patients. He took the time to examine my childs ear , nose and throat as any other Dr would. I wonder how many of the negative repliers have only seen him in hospital. Wouldn't you be upset getting called to the hospital at 1am for a cold, sore throat ect. that are not truly emergencies, but rather people going to the hospital because office times don't fit in to their schedule.

Out of all of the doctors my wife and I have delt with, he has never helped us at all and I have only heard of 1 time where he acually did his job.....If he is on call at the hospital, we go to Regina instead!!

If Dr. Stewart is on call at emergency I cringe. He really doesn't seem to be very knowledgeable. He doesn't do basic tests, he generalizes, and he just doesn't seem to really care- I would drive to REgina to emergency before going to Weyburn if Stewart is on call.

Dr. Stewart has been in this community most of his life and he is not liked much. Most people cringe when they find out he is on call at the hospital. I went in to emergency on the weekend with a fever and really bad caugh, that I couldn't catch my breathe. He did no tests. He said he would give me the same medication that was given to a patient in the hospital with the same symptoms and it wasn't helping her, but too bad. He sent me home. It turned out that I had Whooping Cough. When I saw my Dr the next day(mon), he heard me cough once and instantly said what I had and sent me for tests to the hospital.

went for a complete checkup for work/sgi as well as chest pains i was having and all i got was my blood pressure checked and told i was fine..the end. everything else involved in a complete physical is not important apparently. nice health care we have with doctors like this.

He has always been excellent with our family. He is willing to refer and gets appointments quickly. We always have a few laughs together and have shared many tears with him.Dr Stewart is direct, so some people who want sympathy and babying probably are the ones to give him a bad rating.

Unfortunately going to emergency, and finding out Dr.Stewart was on call, turning around and going back home was my only option. He has misdiagnosed so many times, i would not trust or recommend him to anyone. He is very hasty as well as thoughtless! He doesn't seem to know his stuff!

He is very rude. I think it is pretty bad when you go to emerg. and the doctor asks the patient, "so what do u want me to do?" Your the doctor, you tell me, if I knew i wouldn't have been there!

I appreciate having a physician that isn't afraid to say "he doesn't know", or that "it will probably get better on it's own" (without a prescription). If a problem persists that he is unsure about, he is happy to refer to a specialist, and as one of the previous messages noted, he can seem to get you into a specialist whithout delay.
