Dr silver is an excellent. However the technician that does the basic eye test is both rude and arrogant.

Don’t go to this place. Dr. Silver is disrespectful, aggressive, 0 professional and 0 patient. My little sister was there this morning. First he didn’t even wear his mask well afterwards, my little sister was afraid of the machines, so the doctor pulled her by the hair to bring her closer to the machine (he pulled her so hard that it still hurts). She was scared and didn’t dare to talk about it in the clinic. Now that I know I’m trying to call the clinic for explanations, but they’re not answering. It is unacceptable, he has no right to touch her or to lack respect for customers!

Rated Dr Silver a day ago, Saw the rating and today it was gone. Very interesting. Seems that only poor ratings show up. He is a good doctor.

I've been seeing Dr Silver for years and always found him helpful. Overall he is and the office is much better since he moved from the West Island to Cote-des-Neiges. Office is a bit dated but it's much faster and on time. I wish him the best at the new location. I usually can get a smile out of him and that's so important.

I just couldn't make an appointment with Dr Barry (by phone) because his secretary was very rude and disrespectful! I want an appointment for somebody that doesn't have medical inssurance , just because i needed she repeat the information for me -my french is no perfect- she demanded me to find someone who speaks french well because she was not going to repeat . When I was telling her that she was not being nice, honestly for being a secretary she lacked of patient and customer service, and asking her name she just left me hanged on the phone!! After read cothe mments here about Dr Silver I understoodnow why he has such a receptionist ...

Consulted Dr.Silver because because of an eye problem which my opto believed to be related to early multiple-sclerosis symptom. He rejected this possibility in a few minutes without requesting further tests or IRM. Now a few years later with different and multiple symptoms it has been confirmed to be a cyclic multiple-sclerosis. It would have helped having an earlier detection and proper medical follow-up.

Must say that Barry Sylver was a good doctor at one time. Our eyes are the most important organ we need to preserve. Unfortunaly, somewhere Dr.Sylver has forgoten what is important.Good luck to you, after 20 years with all my eye diseases, I am giving you up.

Family member went to his office with potential glass particles in his eye and the person at the front desk said he isn't seeing anyone else today .Good buy. Imagine having a eye doctor that you can't see with something like this. Not impressed.
