Very interesting after several years to review this site. I understand all the point of views of patients who are asking for help. I mean, when you are looking for advice, you want the access. I agree in New Brunswick, it is not easy. Everybody are in a rush, Everybody wants ''yesterday''. I will tell you, every morning, every day, every night, I will be the last one to go home, to find a solution, to give a diagnosis and a treatment to give the patient hope and a better shape. I am proud of my staff, Fernande, she is my ears and my voice. Patients can be very rude, not honest, wants to overpass another patient. Our role is to give the exact service to everybody like if they are our own family and friends.

So the reason I give 5 stars to:

Helpfulness: because all our energy is focus on the patient, sincerely

Staff: Front line and needs to be sharp, quick and like a mother to everybody, for the better or worst.

Punctuality: 4 stars here because so difficult to maintain the rythm to be like a clock and on the same schedule of the patients. We received calls from hospital, Extra mural nurses, pharmacists, critical blood test and we are squeezing everything in the ''normal'' dayshift. Patients always 1st, no matter what. We will always try to be at time. The reason we listen and manage the problem in 10 minutes in general is to give our more than 2500 patients a chance to discuss with us, to have a waiting time for an appointment in less than 10 days when we are working 3 days at the office and the others at the emergency.

Knowledge: this is coming from all the patients we see and give advices. The next patients years after years will have better service.

My 2 cents in the ratings are to explain a little bit how we work very strong to all the patients, I don't want to boost the stats at all, but I can't leave a review without the ratings.

I hope people and patients will continue to write their comments, this is a good way to communicate and help us to give a better service.

I will tell you, don't be shy to call directly at the office to express your feeling, we will be more than happy to look at your concern, the good and the bad ones.

I have no problem to write everything here in french, this is my first language and maybe the reason of few errors are in this message.

Jimmy has been my doctor for well over a decade. I have very complex medical issues and have had my fare share if doctors over the years. Hands down Dr Jimmy Guignard has been a blessing in the care needed in my case. I would trade him as a doctor for no one and consider myself extremely fortunate to have been accepted as one of his patients. He is caring, considerate, kind and always open to listen to my concerns. If you are fortunate to be able to have him as your doctor I know from experience that you will be in the care of someone who will offer you nothing short of professional, honest and more than adequate care. Thank you Jimmy for years of going past what is expect of health care and service.

He is a terrible Dr. He is very rude and arrogant. Gave me anti depressants that made me have panique attack for the first time in my life and then told me it wasn't the medication when it clearly was and it stoped when I stoped taking the medication. The secretary FERNAND extremely rude. Just yelling at everyone. Very awkward

Dr. Jimmy has always been helpful to me. He's been my family doctor my whole life. Straight shooter, will not give you BS. Appointments are straight to the point and quick, which is expected because our system in NB is broken, not his fault. Secretary very nice on the phone every time I call to make an appointment.

I ended up at the Georges Dumont energency department days ago due to severe stomach pain. I waited hours and hours and hours ... due to New Brunswick's horrible healthcare system. When I did finally manage to get called in, Dr. Guignard ran tests and prescribed meds that worked wonders. He explained what was wrong and was super kind and professional. Absolutely amazing doctor with amazing staff! He didn't brush me off at all; he was very extensive in his testing and when all was said and done, I'm now better because of him.

At 52 years old and having had to manage multiple complex health challenges over the years I can tell you with ZERO HESITATION AND NO DOUBT that Dr. Guignard is the finest doctor I have ever had. He is an excellent listened and communicator. He tries multiple times to address a problem and if the problem doesn't respond to medication he escalates to a specialist. My latest issue he made 3 attempt to resolve (with recommended medication) before dealing it a knock out blow by having me into to see a specialist in ONE WEEK. That specialist did a medical procedure to resolve the problem in LESS THAN AN HOUR. The specialist he sent me to was also top notch and no idea how he made that happen so fast in these crazy covid times. Jimmy is a rarity, one to be appreciated....
