I've worked in the medical field for over 20 years as an RN. Dr Sella is kind and actually cares about his patients. I've had 5 surgeries with him in the past 2 years and quite simply I love this man. He has the experience of practicing for decades yet is cutting edge and up to date on all surgical orthopedic surgeries and advancements. Surgeons usually have poor bedside manners in my experience. Not this guy..he also takes extreme pride in all his work. Where other surgeons would give up....he continues to do all he can to help you. I owe this man my life because I wouldn't be able to walk without him after a traumatic injury...he is an amazing physician and surgeon...the kind you don't see anymore. He never gave up...he fixed the impossible and did everything in his power to make sure I was fixed....I owe this man for the quality of my life and love hI'm to pieces and I was not an easy patient.

i had a fusion done by doctor sella he is losing his mind worst thing i ever did was use hie service still having pain he said my ankle was fused and i was healed i still have misserable pain and now i find it was never fused and have to do it all over again

Insurance company was Health-Net.Dr.Sella is with Connecticut Orthopdic Specialists. Surgery's are done at Saint Raphael's, with 4 conveniently located suburban offices. Staff at all locations are professional and friendly. I was always treated in a manner that helped to reduce the anxiety associated with surgery and follow up visits. I fell 2 stories and did substantial damage to my ankle,several fractures to the talus and other related bones in the akle. The radiologist told me he had never seen an ankle in such a state. I really believe that without Dr. Sella's skill that I may have lost the use of my left foot. I highly recommend this orthopedic group to anyone needing surgery or physical therapy
