I've been seeing Dr. Carfagno for several years and I'm very pleased. He spends plenty of time with me and is knowledgable of my condition even without referring to his notes. He asks lots of question and gives me time to explain my concerns. The best part is that his staff respond quickly to my pharmacy when my prescriptions run out.

I am currently looking for a new doctor in the area. Dr. Carfagno seems well educated and well informed, but his tempterment is unpredictable. I've talk to people who've had bad experiences with him and some who think he's awesome. My challenge has been that he jumps to a diagnoses even before I've finished talking. Also, he often makes me feel ignorant to my own health conditions. Almost as if he wants to tell me how I feel. Unless he's a mind reader, he needs to learn how to listen to his patients and not jump to conclusions so quickly.

Dr. Carfagno was not interested in listening to my symptoms or concerns. He walked in the room and told me I had a mood disorder, although he admitted that I didn't seem like someone who is stressed after I told him I didn't have anxiety. He ignored my complaints of chest pain and didn't even listen to my heart (I was a first time patient, listening to the heart is standard). He told me to take some antacids for heartburn even after I repeatedly told him that I know what heartburn feels like and my pain was a tightness in my chest. I will NEVER go back to this doctor, he does not care about individuals, he thinks everyone has the same diagnosis and acted like I was wasting his time by paying him to talk to me for ten minutes.

HE was very helpful when i ask for help with finding a pain doctor.He sent me to a very fine and caring doctor in conway . very happy with the care i got from both docters.

I have been to Dr. Cargagno for a few years, and have never been disappointed. I see him every 3 months, and he is ALWAYS interested in how my symptoms are. I think he is knowledgeable in general medicine. He has never been over 20 min. behind. Most of his staff is friendly, but I do find a few that just do not acknowledge I am there. I work in a physician's office, and know it is difficult to find friendly office staff. So as long as I am getting adequate care I will continue to go to him.

His staff can be questionable at times but Dr. Carfagno has always been very helpful and interested in what I have to say. Very good doctor.

Doc listens,assesses, and prescribes needed meds, not everything you ask for. Drug seekers go elsewhere, you'll only end up being disappointed and writing bad reviews.

Been using him my entire life and never had a problem, not once. He is always extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I've have never noticed ANY of the negative characteristics of him that people are describing on this site. He is a true professional and deserves nothing less than a 5 rating.

He had a nice enough personality, but didn't really listen to me. He scoffed at my Chiropractor's suggestion to have my thyroid checked, but of all the things he tested for, that was the only one that was close to having a problem (it came back low, and requires watching). He didn't let me finish telling him my symptoms, and rushed me out the door. He forgot to tell the nurse to take my blood, for several minutes. There were maybe 3 patients there, so I didn't see a reason for the rush. He also wasn't so impressive when my husband saw him last year. They ordered a 24 hr heart monitor test. We didn't get results until atleast a month later. Should have been within a couple of days. Yes, we called them about it, and when he finally got it, he apologized. We even gave him another chance. Not the worst doctor, but certainly not the best.
