Drove & waited a long time to see for nothing. Very abrupt, doesn't listen, downright rude & did absolutely nothing. Didn't want to hear about the DPH I've had for 2 yrs. Or the fall 16 ft down concrete stairs. She has her own pre-formed opinion: its all in your head. Stay away if you have chronic pain that keeps you awake all night. She obviosly has more impotant things to do, like eating lunch, insulting people and mousing her hair.

I never found her helpful in the years I've been seeing her. She's very nice, however I feel like she has always dismissed my concerns, to the point where I just suck up the pain and don't visit the doctor at all. She's okay not great as a doctor.

She is the best Orthopedic Surgeon ever. She listens, has great bedside manners, never ignores my complaints, very knowledgeable and always answers emails.

Hirschhorn's a great doc, very knowledgeable, listened to me as her patient, and encouraged an understanding in me as to the options and consequences of various ways to address my torn ACL. The one frustration I had was in the length of time it took to achieve a solid diagnosis as Kaiser is obviously reluctant to schedule MRIs. In the end I had one. I am looking forward to my follow-up visit to have this joint repaired.
