Had right hip arthroplasty at Dearborn Surgery Center on 01/19/2023.Dr. Finch performed the surgery.I am so happy with the outcome.Little diiscomfort.Totally amazed.I feel so good and guess a little too good asked about Outpatient PT and denied at this time too early on.Dr. Finch is very kind and cares about his patients.I will continue doing exercises taught by PT home health and to obey restrictions. The office staff is very welcoming and pleasant. So glad that I have an excellent surgeon.

Great surgeon! Dr Finch is an expert in fixing problems created by other doctors. He was able to diagnose and fix my knee after another doctor did 2 knee replacements that was causing me to have pain for 2 years. After Dr Finch revised my knee I don't have anymore pain and I am extremely happy. I highly recommend Dr Finch! He is kind and really listens to you with a great bedside manner.

Awesome Dr! I have had 3 surgeries by Dr Finch and every time have had excellent outcomes. Initially I had a meniscus surgery with a scope and that got rid of my pain in my knee. Then I had to have my rotator cuff fixed in my shoulder and I made a complete recovery without any pain after the surgery. Finally, I had my left hip replaced via the anterior approach and again had no pain afterward! I highly recommend Dr Finch and his team for any orthopedic problem you have and wouldn't recommend anyone else. He listens to you and works with you to help you get better and honestly, I trust him completely!

Beware! After a meniscus tear, months later the pain was pretty much gone, but felt wobbly. Others told me to get gel shots. I consulted with Dr. Finch, who only after Xray, said he could fix the tear. I was suspicious & for over 3 weeks I asked for an MRI or I would cancel surgery, after another physician said never should surgery be scheduled without the MRI done. Finally one business day before the surgery, & after demanding it, they did the MRI. I was scheduled the last surgery of the day. I reused to be admitted until speaking to Dr. Finch. He told me he saw the MRI & could definitely fix the tear, I told him I would cancel if it could not be fixed. After surgery, mistakes were made by staff with not only the surgery & suturing, but also with Rx ordered which I had proof of in writing. It was not until my 3rd visit I found out, after complaining about tremenous pain, that the meniscus was never repaired, but cut out. When I told Dr. Finch this was not what he told me & that I would never had have had the surgery, he simply shrugged his shoulders, like 'so what I lied', & then said I never fix a meniscus on someone your age! Then told me I need a knee replacement. I was only 61 & am very active & exercise a few hours every day & only less than 3 pounds overweight! I left his office never to return. I have since found out about another patient I know who had a similar bad experience.
