Dangerous surgeon. If you are one of many to be injured by him go to www.scottmarwin.com (currently under construction but you can contact administrator) and share your stories. Together we can pull back the veil of secrecy NYU has hidden behind.

If you need a hip replacement please do not see him . He replaced my right hip 02/16 . I complained of pain at 8 weeks post op. He told me that nothing was wrong with my hip it must be my back. 3 months postop I made a recheck appt. His assistant called me back 10 minutes later and said it was my back and Dr marwin didn't want to see me. It took me 1 1/2 years to find Dr. Capozzi who at least looked at my hip. The stem was loose and had been since surgery. With marwin I couldn't stand on my leg, he fractured my femur without telling me. I should have been non weight bearing for 4 weeks because of this. I was in pain for 11/2 years because of this moron. Stay far away

Dr.Marwin is absolutely the best surgeon! I was apprehensive, yet needed Hip Replacement surgery for 4 years..I was in constant pain, taking pain killers so I could run, kick box, etc. I finally
decided to" look into it",when I realized I was the pain&limping was not getting better.I researched doctors. When I met with Dr.Marwin, his
energetic manner, confidence in getting me back to my physical way of life, and his extensive medical background immediately made my decision. I knew he was the right doctor, and knew I would be in good hands. The results prove that. He performed Anterior Hip Replacement surgery on me which was successful,
Dr.Marwin was always punctual, available,as was his office staff to answer any questions I had throughout my recovery. I found his staff thoroughly professional and no question was too unimportant. As a side note, I was back to hot yoga 4 weeks after my surgery! I can't thank Dr.Marwin enough for giving me back my life .It's now 6 months after my surgery. So glad I did it. I can't say enough good things about Dr.Marwin!

Dr. Marwin is an excellent surgeon. He took me on after a fellow surgeon performed total knee replacement with poor results. My knee was essentially frozen. I could barely walk for over a year. While the wait to see him can be long, it is well worth it. He spent ample time with me and explained his surgical intentions to me on several occasions. I was skeptical that he could fix me, he was not. He completely replaced my original knee replacement. I am now 4 weeks out from surgery and am amazed at the results. And I believe I will just continue to get better from here. I am truly grateful to Dr. Marwin and very thankful for his skill, thoughtfulness and technique. If you have a complicated case, I highly recommend Dr. Marwin. He helped me walk again.

Saw the Doctor in his Westbury location,When I called the office I had to wait 2days before I got a call back to schedule appointment very unusual I must say! He was recommended by Dr Eric Strauss at NYUHJD.My insurance does not cover HSS.The wait was less than 1/2hour. Waited another 20 minutes before he appeared,he went directly to his desk and looked at my X-rays while saying hello I'm Dr. Marwin. We talked for a long time, I felt more comfortable with him and decided to go ahead with scheduling bilateral TKR.I can't wait anymore because it is affecting daily living for me and have tried everything else,am very anxious about it but I will get it over with in one shot,Everyone is different as far as recovery goes and regaining mobility, hope Im one of the lucky ones who does not have a lot of pain and difficulty after the surgery. His office gives you all the reading materials, instructions and schedules appts. for testing at NYUHJD where the surgery will take place.

Down to earth doctor that tells it how it is. I do not need surgery but he has helped me immensely wi injections. His staff is extremely unprofessional, never pick up phone calls or call u back. It is painful if you need something from them. Everrytime that ive been treated l had to wait at LEAST 2 1/2 hours. Shame because I genuinely feel that dr marwin is special

Not good at all. Horrible attitude and personality. Does not explain much and finds surgery to be the only option.
