Don't believe the excellent reviews. I almost died after making the mistake of hiring Dr. Chiaramonte for a tummy tuck and lipo. Common sense should tell you that if a doctor only has excellent reviews and horrible reviews then there's something suspicious. After my surgery I got a massive infection that almost killed me because Dr C went on vacation knowing about my infection and he left a nurse in charge who turned her ringer off because she was "at the movies with her daughter" when I called because my drainage tubes popped out. After emergency surgery at the hospital (while Dr C was still on vacation) I was told that had I not been dragged to the hospital by a concerned friend my infection would have entered my bloodstream within 24 hours and I probably would've died.

This Dr. destroyed my sister's nose, thereby destroying her life! I'm witnessing devastating results, at the hands of this Dr. and it's effecting the quality of life among our whole family!
Please people, beware before going under this man's knife.

Wow, didn't know he had such bad reviews, but with my experience, I have nothing to complain about. His staff was friendly and my results of my lipo/tummy tuck is great.

I would NEVER return to Dr. Charimonte! After surgery I called him three times because I knew I developed an infection. He blew me off for three days because it was the weekend and he could not be bothered. When he finally told me to come see him at the hospital I was immediately hospitalized. He is arrogant and greedy.

I recently had my 14 year old saline implants swapped out for silicone cohesive gel. I couldnt be happier with the results! The surgery was a breeze, my husband and i shopped national Harbor the next day!

My surgery almost killed me. I have since gone to another plastic surgeon for scar revision and have been advised that I should not have had that many procedures done at one time, that many people died just last year from too many procedures done at once under anesthesia. It was a risky surgery - but I was not told that. "There is risk with anything". My lipo'd areas are lop-sided. My breasts are an embarrassment and require surgery to correct the wide scars. Beware of his smooth talking staff. I didn't feel like they cared about me. It felt like a business to them and they just wanted my money. I am wondering why on other sites the poor ratings have been deleted - for example on vitals.com they acknowledge a derrogatory post was made but you can't read it anywhere. I was in the emergency room when a nurse told me that a week earlier someone had been life-flighted out for thoracic surgery as a result of air under her implants - surgery done by Chiaramonte. Be careful.

Wow, I'm pretty shocked by the mostly previous reviews! At any rate, its good to know that at least some of Dr. Chiaramonte's patients didn't have to endure the horrible permanent nerve and tissue damage, constant pain (nearly two years post op), despicable condescension /arrogance/lies, disfiguring denting/asymmetry from what the 'doctor' described as a result of his being 'right handed' (his audacity would be funny if it weren't so horrific) , and not to mention his ridiculous offer to redo my surgery at 'only' 60% of the cost! Please do your research before seeing this guy. There are much better doctors in this area. Interview at least three doctors and make sure to get references from actual patients who had the exact same procedure you are interested in (and are not on the doctors payroll). A botched cosmetic surgery can have serious, permanent consequences. Don't rely on anonymous reviews, not even this true one. Take the time to do the real research! I sure wish I would have.

DR. Chiaramonte and his entire staff have always displayed in a caring manner from my tummy tuck and liposuction procedure. My results came out GREAT! I have received many compliments on how great I look! I was sick and tired of people asking me how many months I am. I am now 3 months post due my surgery and I am so happy that I invested in myself, I am much more confident, my body is normal again - Prior to surgery, my breast and but were competing with my pregnant shaped belly. But Thanks to the very knowledgeable and skilled Dr. Chiramonte, he was able to repair my abdomen muscles and remove the excess fat from my middle section. I have everything to say GOOD about his work and practice. The staff has always exercise the most courteous and professional conduct. I immediately make an appointment for surgery a month after visiting the office for the very first time and I AM WELL PLEASED. I LIKE LOOKING IN THE MIRROR AT MY NEW BODY, I MAY LOOK 26, BUT I'M IN MY LATE 40'S

I had a breast augmentation done by Dr Chiaramonte in April 2010. He did an amazing job. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. I recommend him to everyone I know! His staff is caring and helpful and the nurses are great.. they even will give you tips if they have had the procedure themselves.

I HAD A TUMMY TUCK WHICH TURNED OUT HORRIBLE. HE SAID THAT HE WOULD BE ABLE TO REMOVE ALL OR AT LEAST MOST OF MY STR MARKS. I STILL HAVE NEARLY ALL OF THEM AS WELL AS A VERY BIG AND WIDE "T" SHAPED SCAR. PLEASE BLOG BACK IF YOU HAVE HAD THE SAME SITUATION.
