I had a TUBA with Dr. Geraldine in 2005. Immediately after the surgery I knew something was wrong with my right side. It was significantly higher than my left. He said it was swollen and would eventually settle. I was never told to schedule a post op visit. A year later later I went back with concerns about my higher up right breast. It had never “settled” as he said it would. He asked me if I was a stripper! I was getting married in 3 weeks and a semester away from graduating nursing school! I told him that I was not and he said, “well, if it only bothers you when you are naked then what difference does it make?” I was 23 and didn’t stand up for myself. I had my breasts redone last week after living with a deformed breast for 14 years! I had immediately after his surgery developed capsular contracture and the muscles on my right side were never released which is why my implant sat just underneath my clavicle and into my armpit. After reading these reviews I wish this would have been around in 2005. What a disgusting surgeon to belittle his patients.

I was young and naive, Dr. Gerson was a huge mistake! My breasts are horrible in appearance and he blamed me for the mistakes.

I wish this had existed back when I had this surgery. I had a TUBA and experienced all of this negativity and more. Mine were asymmetrical after. The pocket was not formed properly the first go around. I also have loose skin track from the TUBA leading up to that breast. I was horribly bruised and it has never recovered. He was rude and condescending to me but I was determined not to stay that way. I had a second surgery to repair. During that surgery, I woke up on the table while under they knife. I felt everything. I whimpered and could hear the scuffle to sedate me again. My right side has NEVER matched. I suspect that he filled it differently (not checking his notes). I went in years after to have them checked and he treated me like a complete idiot. He actually didn't read my charts and told me it was from swelling and it would take care of itself in time (including my loose skin)....it had been 10 YEARS!! Flashforward to today and I have an issue with that same side and now have to go in for repair. Flat out worst decision I ever made going with Dr. Gerson. I should have followed my gut instinct and walked right out with his initial arrogance and inability to communicate in a caring manner.

I went for a tuba in 2008. My breads were just small . He claimed that they were not asymetrical . He placed them uneven an filled one with more saline water. One look deflated.

I went for a consult on getting implants in January of 2006. I had a friend who had a tuba done the year before and hers looked great! So i scheduled my surgery. I had my tuba done in March of 2006. Although I thought Dr.Gerson's bedside manner could use a whole lot of work, (he's very dry and 'matter -of -factly') I am extremely pleased with how surgery went. I didn't want the scars from other types of procedures, so I wanted the tuba. Yes it was a painful recovery (the first few days) but 8 years later, I still love them! and have had no problems.

I had a tuba, fat injections in my face and eye lift. The tuba was terrible.I didnt have a match set!! Had to get his partner Dr Wood to fix since I wasnt going bac to him. Dr Wood did it for free and I only had to pay the cost of the operating room which was a 1000. Dr Wood nows practices in WV unfortunately! I had these procedures done I believe in 2005. The eyes and fat injections still look gr8 til this day!!! That is the only things I would recommend him for. My hubby wants a tt and he will not be going to him!

Dr. Gerson did an AMAZING job on my nose.It was broken previously with a big bump in it but afterwards it was super cute and I love it.I don't know why his ratings are so poor.

I had an eye job from Dr. Gerson years ago and unless his skills and bedside manner have improved, I definitely would not recommend him. I should have trusted my instincts from my initial consultation. I foundhim cold, condescending, and he spent more time chatting with my friend who accompanied me than addressing my problems. My eye surgery was a disaster. One eye was round and the other almond shaped. I had to have two corrective surgeries by competent doctors who described his work as "sloppy." He also did a laser resurfacing on my crows feet and burned me! My skin was bright red for over a year! The worst part was Dr. Gerson shrugging off his shoddy surgery as no big deal. I consulted two attorneys about pursuing a malpractice suit against him and they both agreed I had a strong case but I didn't have the funds for litigation. Please learn from my mistakes and find another doctor.

My name is Laurie Schiedow and I don't care who knows it. I had a visit with Dr. Gerson recently for a second opinion and left the office feeling defeated and worthless, like I was taking up his oxygen. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Sept. 08 and have been trying to become whole since then. My efforts to become reconstructed have been LONG and PAINFFUL to the point I am ready to give up. I sought the help of Dr. Gerson (PWP person with a penis, because he is not a man) because I need this to come to an end. He told me that this is probably as good as it is going to get. I left mid-visit because he gave me NO hope that this would ever be resolved. Please do not waste your time with PWP. He will only make you feel worse about your situation. I survived cancer and he made me feel like I should be grateful to be in his presence after I waited for him, in a gown, for 45 min. Run the other way at 50 mph to avoid him. Be well, God bless, don't give up. Love to all!

Results of my neck lift surgery were horrific . . . worse than before the surgery. The day after the surgery, I was called in to arrive earlier than my scheduled appointment, which I did, and then was left sitting in the waiting room with various other patients, my face and neck bandaged, swollen, a mess. Very unprofessional. Pictures of before and after were conveniently "lost" because the results were so abominable.
