As a twin cities physician I did a lot of homework when choosing a surgeon to perform my operation. Being a former collegiate football player I had lost considerable weight and was left with loose skin/adipose tissue over my chest and lower abdomen. Dr. Hoffman was the only physician in the twin cities with the type of surgical experience and actual results/testimonials that I was willing to trust for my care. He performed a gynecomastia reduction and mini abdominoplasty along with liposuction contouring. The results were excellent and I could not have been more pleased with the whole perioperative process form initial consultation through the postoperative visits. I would highly recommend Dr. Hoffman and his team to anyone!

One of my breast implants ruptured and I was fortunate to have received Dr. Hoffman’s name from another plastic surgeon. Dr. Hoffman was not my only consult but by the end of my first meeting with him, I knew that I wanted him to be my surgeon. First of all, he seemed to have all the time in the world to talk to me about what I wanted and what he could realistically provide. His soft spoken, unassuming way of explaining things, backed with current literature references, diagrams, and his many years of experience painted a descriptive picture of what he could do. As a health care professional myself, I felt that I could trust him. In the end, after I looked at his impressive portfolio of before and after pictures, I added liposuction of my front and back torso and inner thighs to my bilateral breast implant replacement. My recovery was so quick and easy that I didn’t require so much as a tylenol, let alone a narcotic, after my surgery day. Every one’s pain tolerance is different but because I know I’m not a martyr, I can only, at the very least, partially attribute this to his surgical expertise. I am very happy with my results and look better than I have in many years, having dropped several sizes.

His office staff consists of Nica and Karen, both seasoned health providers with years of solid experience. They work seamlessly as a team with Dr. Hoffman. Nica, a registered nurse, is at the front desk handling everything from scheduling to finances and more. She quite easily answered several of my post op questions without involving Dr Hoffman. Karen assists in the office and at times, provides assistance to Dr. Hoffman in surgery. She was there for mine and I couldn’t have been happier to see her smiling friendly face as I went into surgery. Both of these ladies are very knowledgable and are just as professionally competent, compassionate and respectful as Dr. Hoffman. It felt like coming back to family with all of my office visits. His office waiting area is small and comfortable but I was hardly in it. My average wait to be placed in a room was two minutes and that is because Nica does such a great job of scheduling that I rarely saw any of his other patients and I know he has a busy practice. For me, a person who values privacy, this was a real asset.

One other point of consideration is that he will only bring his patients to the surgical centers that he considers the safest, and his standards are high. I would highly recommend Dr. Hoffman. You might be doing yourself a disservice if you do not at least have him on your consultation list.

Dr. Hoffman and his team are absolutely amazing! I have been wanting breast augmentation since high school and finally decided to have the procedure done after having my third child. Dr. Hoffman was able to get me in quickly for my consultant and from that first meeting I knew he was the perfect doctor for me. He instantly made me feel comfortable, spent time to make sure I understood the procedure, his techniques, and what he does to prevent any possible complications. He answered all my questions and allowed me as much time as I needed to review sizes. He and his staff were amazing. He made sure that the size I selected would fit my body appropriately while also fulfilling my wants. After the procedure and during all the follow ups since he has continued to put my mind at ease and has been available by phone, email and in person visits to examine anything I felt was off (even though it was completely normal). Simply put I would see Dr. Hoffman for all my reconstructive desires!

After deciding I was ready for rhinoplasty, I spent a lengthy amount of time carefully selecting a surgeon and care team. As a registered nurse, I knew exactly what I was looking for (and exactly what I wasn’t looking for). I knew Dr. Hoffman was the perfect fit after our very first phone call, and I have felt confident in that decision every step of the way. My procedure was in December of 2020, and I could not be happier with my choice. Dr. Hoffman and his team spent extensive time explaining the procedure and recovery, ensured all of my questions were answered, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Over the last 10 years and after trying other non-invasive procedures to get rid of belly fat (Bodylogie, Laser Lipo and purchasing my own fat cavitation machine to do it myself), I realized that if I really wanted the results I was looking for, I needed to have a tummy tuck surgery and liposuction done by a reputable plastic surgeon. I knew right away that Dr. Hoffman was the one. He has a genuine interest in caring for what his patient wants to achieve rather than what the surgeon thought you should have based on their time constraints in an ASC. All the great reviews here are all true: detailed, knowledgeable, trustworthy, caring. He takes pride in achieving the best results not only for you but for his own satisfaction. He’s very passionate about his work! I now have an hourglass sculpted body shape and smooth flatter abs that amazes me everyday! Forever grateful! Amazing experience

3 months post op from breast reduction, lift and lypo of my midsection.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Hoffman, Nica and Karen. I had been considering a breast reduction for most of my life but I knew nothing about cosmetic surgery. I found Dr. Hoffman on the Real Self website and what drew me to him was all of his reviews. I scheduled an appointment shortly after that and was able to go in and meet him. I was really impressed by how welcoming Dr. Hoffman, Nica and Karen were and once I saw his portfolio I couldn’t believe how amazing his patients scars looked post op. I had seen a lot of pictures prior and those were by far the best.

Once I committed to having surgery with Dr. Hoffman they were so helpful in helping me prep for surgery and what I could expect for recovery. They answered the many questions I had in person, over the phone and through email. I never had an issue with communication during the entire process.

The surgery went amazing and Dr. Hoffman worked so hard making my body look amazing. He removed a lot of fat from my midsection and thank goodness because it gave me the hour glass figure I have always wanted. I am so happy with the way my body looks and feels. I am so very thankful for Dr. Hoffman and his staff and if I ever want any more plastic surgery this is the place I will go to. Dr. Hoffman, Nica and Karen are the most amazing team! From the moment I called Nica to schedule a consult until my post op follow-ups they have been the most caring, compassionate and professional team ever! My consult with Dr. Hoffman was very detailed and lasted almost 2 hours. He showed me his portfolio of work which was beyond helpful. As a 62 y/o woman I was nervous about having a breast reduction and tummy tuck but Dr. Hoffman answered all my - and my husband's - questions in detail and assured us that I was a great candidate for this surgery. Nica and Karen held my hand during the entire process and you can tell that this team has worked together for years and care about you as a person. I highly recommend Dr. Hoffman. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He took time for me and answered all of my questions and offered wonderful care preoperatively and postoperatively. I had a tummy tuck and liposuction and the results exceeded my expectations. Nica and Karen provided excellent care and support as well. They have a great follow up regimen, prepared me well for post op recovery and were available for any questions at any time. You will be in great hands with this team!
